New wellness vacation home with an unobstructed view of the water!
Tastefully decorated vacation home with a sauna and whirlpool in the bathroom! A bright and very inviting home that has just been built!
Enjoy a relaxing vacation in a new and very well-equipped vacation home with a wellness bathroom!
The house is very attractively furnished, so you’ll feel right at home. The unobstructed view from the terrace and the living room of the waterway leading to the recreational boat marina next to the house is particularly lovely. There are two marinas in the immediate vicinity that lead out to the Ems River. Enjoy the sight of the pleasure boats and sailboats gliding peacefully past the house.
The living room and one bedroom each feature a smart TV.
The wellness bathroom on the upper floor is beautiful, featuring a large panoramic window (with privacy screening). Enjoy the Finnish sauna here and relaxing soaks in the large whirlpool tub.
Leading out to the garden with a view of the water is a spacious terrace with a cozy seating area. In front of the house is a lawn, and the garden is fully fenced. In the evening, you can end the day in a cozy atmosphere under the covered terrace (with outdoor lighting).
Families, as well as people with limited mobility, feel very comfortable here in the house. The bedroom on the first floor is also perfectly suitable for people with limited mobility.

There is free parking for 2 cars next to the house, one of which is under the carport (where bicycles can also be stored).
Within walking distance is the HafenCafe in Marinapark, where you can sit right by the water while enjoying a meal, an Aperol Spritz, or similar drinks, and enjoy a veeeery relaxed view of the harbor basin and the Ems River. They offer a variety of dishes as well as coffee and cake. From around Easter through September, the HafenCafe is usually open on weekends.
There are quite a few charming vacation homes around the two harbors. This area, as well as the banks of the Ems, is excellent for walking and biking. The Ems Bike Trail runs right through the Marina Park here...
The two nearest supermarkets are located about 2 and 3 km away, respectively, both with bakeries on site, in the town of Walchum. The nearest larger towns with big supermarkets, about 10 km away, are Dörpen, Haren, and Lathen.
There’s a swimming lake just under 3 km away. And a particularly great swimming lake with a water ski facility is located just about 8 km away.
There are VERY many options for day trips in the area: Papenburg (the “Little Venice of the North”), the fashionable town of Leer, a quick trip to the coast (only about 110 km), the massive Papenburg shipyard, various amusement parks, and numerous swimming lakes. It’s less than 10 km to the Netherlands. And for cyclists, this place is an El Dorado!
Upon arrival, the beds will be made, and one large and one small towel will be provided for each guest. The linens package also includes 2 dish towels. Every vacation booking must include a linens package and a final cleaning.
Group gatherings and parties are not permitted here!
