Luxury Escapes - Three-Bedroom Apartment with Lake View

De ligging van het appartement was top. Met 5 minuten lopen op het strand en aan The Walk met winkeltjes en restuarantjes. Supermarktje direct naar het appartementencomplex. Het appartement was super schoon en zeer ruim. Taxi's voor de deur.

Geen koffiezetapparaat. Later alsnog ontvangen. Er was voor elke bed maar 1 handdoek aanwezig. Geen keukenhulpdingen aanwezig zoals peper/zout, vaatwasblokjes, theedoek etc. Alleen een paar pendaalemmerzakken. Zwembad matig onderhoud en weinig bedjes.

I am travelling a lot and this is one of the rare appartments where I felt home. Really home. Everything is well designed, like a real home. There are enough kitchen utensils to do serious cooking, the appartment is spacious, the wifi works fine, there are clear guidelines for communication in case of problems. Decoration is very good, beds are super comfortable, showers are working very well and everything was pristine clean. Mind that there is little to no view, as the view is blocked by several surrounding buildings, we can glimpse at the beach in the main bedroom and view a small part of the marina from the other rooms.

Everything was really good, but I have a few lower points: The key system runs on an app which needs to be installed on a smartphone and GPS must be enabled on Android for the app to detect the key system. This system is cumbersome and needs several tries to work. Not as easy as it seems. The Wifi is weaker in one of the bedrooms, making it unusable on some devices (but others worked). Soundproofing could be improved - yes I know I'm pushing it, as most properties don't have any such kind of sound proofing, but since we are here on an exceptional property, let's make it even more exceptional: a few sound proofing panels in the living room would help reduce reverberation. And it would help to get a copy of the user manuals of appliances, but again, I'm pushing it :)

Poor pre booking communication. Clunky contactless key entry that didnt always work as sell as it should. No information in the appartment.
