Acropolis Aura Vintage Stays in Athens

The apartment was very clean, comfortable and well maintained, with all the amenities we needed. The check-in instructions were clear and easy to follow, and the hosts were responsive and easy to reach by phone whenever we had a question. The spacious kitchen was fully equipped with utensils and electrical appliances. There was also a washing machine, which would be especially useful for longer stays. The Acropolis was approximately a 20-minute walk away, making the apartment a good base for exploring Athens.

The walk from the metro felt quite long, particularly when we first arrived with our luggage in the Athens heat, although this may feel different from person to person. We also noticed that the kitchen counter attracted quite a lot of ants, so food could not be left there. However, we did not see ants anywhere else in the apartment. The apartment is on the third floor and there is no lift. This means that if you order food, you may need to walk down three flights of stairs to collect it and then climb back up.

The location of the hotel is exceptional — really great, with cafés, restaurants, and sights just around the corner. The view from the rooftop terrace is fantastic. There’s no elevator, but that didn’t bother me. The bed is comfortable, and the apartment offers everything you need. The only small issue was that the hairdryer didn’t fit the socket, so I couldn’t use it. The water pressure in the shower is excellent, and once you turn on the boiler, you get properly hot water. Overall, definitely recommended!

There is not much to complain - There is a church nearby, you can sometimes hear the bells in the morning and some people in the busy streets on weekend nights. There is no elevator, but that did not bother me much.

Lokalizacja obiektu jest rewelacyjna, z okien kuchni widać Akropol, a z mieszkania można się dostać na dach, gdzie urządzony jest klimatyczny taras widokowy. Mieszkanie położone jest na Place - starej historycznej dzielnicy Aten. Z mieszkania jest bardzo blisko do większości obiektów, restauracji, czy parków.

Mieszkanie było bardzo zimne. Niestety nie było też dobrze posprzątane. W kuchni nie było ani butelki wody, ani kawy, ani herbaty. Było słabo wyposażone - znaleźliśmy jakieś 3 podrapane kubki. W łazience żadnej szafki, czy półek. Na ścianach niestety duża pleśń, co można było wyczuć w powietrzu. Widać, że mieszkanie nie jest prowadzone przez Greków. W kuchni brak briki do przygotowania kawy.
