Super spacious and clean - bed was very comfortable. Walking distance to the acropolis as well. The host was also very accommodating for early check in.

The property was comfortable, clean and a good size. It was very central to supermarket, restaurants and attractions and in a good quiet area. The host was very responsive and helpful. The bed and pillows were very comfortable. There was a washing machine which is a bonus and because we didn't like to use a dryer, we had a clothes rack for hanging. The Air Con worked well.

When we arrived after 3pm the apartment hadn't been cleaned and we had to call the host to let him know, he was very apologetic and had a cleaner attend the room quickly. He also offered us a few grocery items. In the bathroom there were 2 tiny bottles of shampoo and 2 tiny bars of soap very poor quality as you couldn't wash with these (you will need your own toiletries) I feel for the price we paid it would have been perfect if there was good quality body wash, shampoo and body lotion in a dispenser attached to the wall in the shower and basin area and a box of tissues. Extra towel hanging space would be a plus too.

The location was very good and convenient. The owner was responsive, polite and tried to help whenever we contacted him. Communication was easy throughout our stay.

Unfortunately, we did not receive the Artemis apartment that we specifically booked and paid for. We had made this reservation several months in advance, so this was not a last-minute booking. Despite that, we were informed only after arrival that there had been a double booking and were placed in another apartment instead. The apartment we received was directly next to the lift and the sound insulation was extremely poor. You could clearly hear people using the stairs and lift as if they were inside the apartment. There were also significant cleanliness and maintenance issues when we arrived. The pillows were extremely yellow from old sweat stains and looked as though they had not been replaced for a very long time. In accommodation that is used by a large number of different guests throughout the year, items like pillows should be replaced regularly, not simply covered with a fresh pillowcase indefinitely. The bedding and towels also did not appear properly clean, and there was hair on the bed when we arrived. For the price charged for this accommodation, I think it is reasonable to expect that basic items such as pillows, bedding and towels are maintained properly and replaced when they are clearly worn out. Replacing pillows every six to twelve months is not an unreasonable expectation for a professionally managed short-term rental. There were also maintenance problems, faulty bathroom light that was flickering and making a loud buzzing noise.
