Plaka With Acropolis Rooftop View Access

The rooftop was very nice and because the apartment is below the ground floor it was a very comfortable temperature even tough it was 39 degrees outside.

There is very little natural light.

The location is perfect for exploring everything Athens has to offer, we were able to walk everywhere we wanted to go. The accommodation itself is comfortable, the host is super friendly and helpful, gave us some really great recommendations on what to see and where to eat (all of which were great). The accommodation has a roof top terrace which has a fantastic view of the acropolis, recommend going on the evening as the view was breathtaking.

We were in the basement room which meant there was little natural light, it wasn’t a massive issue though.

Het was dicht bij alles beter kon het niet . Kamer was heel proper.

Kamer was donker en je kon het lawaai van op straat horen. Jammer dat tijdens ons verblijf de lift defect was waardoor men voor het uitzicht enkel met de trap naar het dakteras konden.

Good location to explore the Plaka

This apartment is below street level. It does have windows which open onto a light shaft below the footpath. The light shaft accumulates debris from the footpath and needs cleaning. It is not a pretty outlook. The apartment needs some tender loving care in general. There are no cereal bowls supplied in the kitchen which makes breakfast cereals difficult to eat off a plate. The bathroom waste bin is totally rusty and needs replacement. It does have a view of the back side of the acropolis, not the front. The staircase upstairs is a circular fire escape type structure and you need to be careful when climbing it The common area stairwell really needs cleaning also as well as the common roof top area.
