The location was very convenient to the Plaka- which was the primary reason we chose this apartment.

The host was very communicative. The location was convenient but safety was a concern. The bathroom was very unpleasant and the main reason we would not recommend this property.

The bathroom flooded every time you took a shower. The paint and drywall in the bathroom was peeling from all the water.

Pleasant if you want to be near to major tourist sites

Great location, close proximity to all sites and transportation. We enjoyed that there's a decently equipped and importantly separate kitchen.

Shower/toilet facility if not great. It gets flooded with every shower. Warm water facility is annoying with a large group (family of 6), we had to turn on/off the warm water switch in two batches in order to accommodate everyone, and we don't take long showers. I don't recommend this property for more than 4 people as you'd otherwise have to take turns to make use of the shower/toilet, which is rather inconvenient.

Wonderful apartment and perfect location

Great location - We could walk to the Acropolis and so much more. Tours has their meeting points very near and the neighborhood was full of restaurants and shops. The apartment was very comfortable for our family of 4. The a/c worked well, the beds and linens were comfy and the whole place was stylish and peaceful. Breakfast foods stocked was a very nice touch and great to have on demand given our jet lag. I would highly recommend this apartment!

We had no issues but would note that if anyone in your party can't do stairs, opt for a different unit because there are a few flights here. There are a few other units offered by Nikos that also look great.

This apartment was in a great area- close to Plaka and also safe to walk in at night.

Location is wonderful! Great communication! Food for breakfast was nice.

There was a leak in the shower and a very stinky and dirty dish rag in the kitchen that hopefully was not used to wash dishes or clean as it was quite disgusting.

location incredibly central

it was perfect for our needs. one small suggestion would be to put a notice on the inside bathroom door to remind people not to put paper in the toilet as it is so easy to forget particularly for children.

Good quality affordable accommodation in a superb location in Ancient Athens

Ideal for a mid-range city break in the historical centre of Athens. Roomy apartment perfect for a family of 3 or 4 at a fraction of the price of a 3* hotel. Nicely equipped kitchen, although we hardly used it as many restaurants within a few hundred metres - catering for all tastes at reasonable process. Overall we found it it to be a ideal base for our three days stay in Athens. The entrance to the Acropolis and its Museum, was perhaps 600 m away, whilst other historic attractions such as Hadrian's library are barely 1 km.

Not a criticism of the the apartment, but this area of Athens is completely focused on tourists. Dozens/hundreds of shops selling the same tacky souvenirs - make sure you compare prices or haggle as an item costing Euro 15 can be Euro 6 a few shops later. You can also save a lot on food and drink by choosing restaurants and bars slightly off the main streets.

The location was perfect. The host was friendly and accommodating.

The apartment looked worse than in the pictures. The apartment was not thoroughly cleaned. There was dust in many places. The shower was not very clean - dirt from previous guests was coming up. The bathroom got half-flooded with every shower

Excellent place in the centre of Athens

Excellent place with a perfect location close to the major attractions. Lovely and clean and very nice to be able to make your own breakfast. No problem getting refill for our hungry teenage son. Very helpful host who gave good recommendations about restaurants and arranged pick-up from the airport. Can only recommend this place and will certainly book it again if going to Athens.

After our two-night stay, we were sad to leave it.

We really enjoyed this apartment. It was really clean and the kitchen was stocked with everything we needed for breakfast and lunch - eggs, bread, cheese, coffee, tea, juice. That was a nice surprise! There was plenty of room for our family of two adults and two teenagers. The apartment was very close to lovely tavernas and the acropolis.

Great location & fabulous apartment

The apartment is in a great location - very close to the Plaka and Acropolis, with Santagma square a few minutes walk away. Nikos had left us bread, ham & cheese and milk in the fridge. The apartment layout is also great with the two spacious bedrooms, living area and kitchen (with washing machine). Though you only have a street view, you should be out enjoying the live music in the nearby square and seeing the Acropolis lit up just around the corner!

Hugely disappointed

The location, maybe.

Description of the apartment didn't match the online description. It's billed as a 3 bedroom apartment in a very deceptive way. It's actually a one bedroom apartment with 2 child beds. The dining room connected to the living room is being used as another bedroom with a large bed. The living room is poorly furnished with 2 old foldable mattresses and no pillows or bedsheets. Only the bedroom with the children beds has a door. Everything else is open. No privacy. The owner was very belligerent when confronted and grudgingly agreed that the description is incorrect after I made him read it on Booking.com. Needless to say, two of us ended up booking 2 other rooms at a nearby hotel. Worst value ever at 140 EURO per night.

Everything! Nikos was so helpful and friendly to us! The apartment was in the very city center! We loved it! We stayed with 7 friends and we all had a wonderful experience! We are very grateful for such a great opportunity to stay this lovely home! The most highly recommended from us!
