The view of Acropolis from my room. Was incredible.since it’s on the top floor- it gives a wrap around view. A glass covered sit out is a good touch. I did not really use it. The hosts were very nice and made sure all information regarding the property was sent to me in advance including how to find the key and enter the house. They went extra miles and gave me valuable suggestions about how to choose the islands.handful of restaurants are right around the corner, where I grabbed breakfast once.

Plaka has narrower & steeper streets than elsewhere like Syntagma. Although you get a great view of Acropolis - the approach to the property is tight Which was a problem for me as a solo traveller . The house had all basic amenities but was incredibly small. Even for a solo traveller like me this was really small. Water pressure in bathroom is crazy low. Opening the door with the key was a nightmare for me. Every single time I had huffed and puffed to just turn the key and open it. The AC can be a bit tricky. There is a mirror inside the cabinet door -which is right side of the entrance & is quite missable. For the same price, there will be other o options available.
