This property is a SCAM stay well away. Liam is a thief who will take your money and deposit then simply not respond. As for the property its disgusting smelly and dirty. There is no wifi and TV is really old and remote doesn’t work. None of the bedding has been cleaned you will walk into how the previous users left it. Smells of smoke and beds are broken. Stay well away as Booking do not refund you since Liam the thief doesn’t respond.

I don't recomend but if you stay bring your own bedsheets because they are not cleaned.

I liked that I got my deposit back, though I had to verbally push 4 times and the respond time left a lot to be desired. I really thought they would steal it LOL.

OOF OKAY, RIGHT, first of all they do want a £100 deposit with no written safety clause so you will be financially obliged not to complain or report the property until you leave. To me, this alone is a massive red flag. Most importantly the bed sheets where not changed so that's a big one. There where not only drool marks on the pillows and toenails in the bed, there was also something crusty on the bedsheets. Thats a first for me, I'm pretty laid back. I stayed in the downstairs room. The blinds where broken and didn't work properly (prepare yourself because this is indeed going to be a trend) So I opted to stay in the single bed as far away from the flowing street lights. On inspecting the location of a power outlet I found one behind the broken headboard a mass of cobwebs, spiders, an open sweetie packet with chocolate spilling out and a broken lamp. (this is why I checked the bedsheets and yeah, all the pillows in that room had drool marks.) Bafflingly they also had two pillows shoved in each pillowcase, the weirdest money saving technique I've witnessed. On the floors of the property you will find ripped lino, selotaped back together lino and a mud packed carpet. Many of the walls have had things like cables ripped off, there where marks and holes and pins, but on a large scale. One of the spare rooms I think just had a curtain nailed up? Toilet time! No, it was not cleaned. The shower holder had been snapped of at some point and the solution to that issue was to duct tape it on. This at some unknown date had failed and so it was jammed behind the back of the holder and the wall. I worry for the property because the grouting is going and water is deffinetly getting under the tiles, oh and the curtain was mouldy, I'd say like anything that's wrong with a property that could be quickly resolved was not.

Save your money

I recently booked a house through Booking.com for a week, and my experience has been extremely disappointing. Upon arrival, I was asked to pay a £100 deposit, which seemed standard at first. However, since then, I've been trying to contact the host for my deposit refund with no response. The property itself had several issues: there was no shower, the internet was non-functional, and the beds were filthy. I wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone. It's unacceptable to ask for identification and deposits under these circumstances. I’m considering reporting this host to Booking.com and possibly the police. Save yourself the trouble and look elsewhere!

AVIOD AT ALL COSTS

THE WORST STAY I've ever had!!!! We came to this property on a work trip. It was NOT cleaned at all!!! The place stunk, there was a random t-shirt left on the floor, a vape on the counter, the oven was covered in food that had been left, the fridge too, dust and grime everywhere, the bedding WAS NOT CLEAN!! In fact it all smelt like cigarettes even though it's a 'smoke free home.' The wifi details were not shared and the host took a day to get back to us. When we woke up the morning of our first day of work, the button for the shower didn't work so we had to shower under the tap in the bath, there was also no toilet roll so as you can imagine a really stressful start to the day. I contacted the host right away (at this point he hadn't even replied about this wifi) and we had to make the decision to leave and book somewhere else. As we left, the neighbour came out as said that he's surprised we lasted as long as we did in there ( a full 12 hours!!), he said most people come for 10 mins and leave as it's so disgusting. Booking.com customer service haven't replied to any of my requests for a refund and the host is useless.

DO NOT BOOK!!

Nothing I liked!!!

Upon entering, there was a foul smell throughout the property. The bins were overflowing and rubbish thrown next to the kitchen. The property was not clean - so much dust everywhere and cobwebs. It clearly was not swept or mopped. Dead flies in the window. Metal nails lying around on the floor. Lino flooring ripped which we tripped over. Bedding was dirty with stain, also ripped from corners. Used dirty towels were left hanging off the downstairs bedroom door, which had stains too. We had to law our own towels on top of the bed before we slept. Broken items in the house. Sockets are hanging off the wall, buzzing noise from one of them, one spindle missing from the stairs banister - all of these are health hazards. One room has no curtains or blinds, which is no good with sunrise being so early during summer months. Broken glass shower panel just thrown in garden - hundreds of pieces of broken glass. Was advertised as smoke free, however so many cigarette buds were thrown in garden. Garden was full of rubbish, broken bath and full of used building material. We couldn't even let the kids play outside. I've taken lots of photos and have videos for anyone wishing to see. I can only upload 4. Agent wasn't bothered and said to me: ‘you are more than welcome to leave’ ‘why are you still in’ - absolutely rubbish customer service. Property advertises to refund the £100 deposit within 2 hours of leaving the property. It is now 4 weeks gone, and I am still chasing this refund through booking .com. I WOULD NEVER RECOMMEND THIS PLACE. DO NOT PAY DEPOSIT. YOU WILL NOT GET IT BACK FROM PROPERTY. THEY MESS YOU AROUND.
