Original Backpackers

This is the one of the best hostels I’ve stayed in! It was so clean and comfortable, with an amazing rooftop. I especially appreciated the breakfast provided to have something substantial before starting your day. The staff were so incredibly friendly and helpful - even helping me find a place to stay when there had been a mix up in my bookings on the first night! The hostel was really social and easy to meet new people. Great location to the subway and Gwanjang market for street food. Overall, just a fantastic hostel!

I only didn’t like the fact I didn’t book this hostel for my last few days in Seoul!!

This was my second time staying in Backpackers and I loved every minute. The owners are very thoughtful and giving suggestions what to visit and taste or where to shop. The free breakfast is awesome added value and meeting and chatting with people from all around the world has amazing vibe. Will stay with them in future once again 😉 the beds are really comfortable and the blankets are nicely warm.

The chill vibe, common areas on the top floor that are set up in a way where you naturally meet people, clean rooms and bathrooms, and particularly the very thoughtful and friendly staff. The WhatsApp group with suggestions is a great initiative.

The walls are quite thin so noise travels easily to the rooms. I found other guests were respectful of the 22h quiet time but still the sound of doors slamming late at night can be a bit tiresome.

Really nice stay - staff were very friendly, beds very comfortable and it's in an excellent, easy to reach convenient location. Had a great time and will stay again if in town.

The single room does look smaller than expected, but not a problem eventually
