It was so peaceful. Just what we needed. We were greeted by John the caretaker as we arrived as it was getting dark and he said he thought may be we needed a hand. We were surprised at the size of the shower/toilet. It was bigger than we thought it would be in a glamping pod. The bed was firm and comfortable we had all we needed in there and also parked 5 mt away so great for transferring the cases. We both loved it. In fact would have loved to have been there a week. I managed to lose the pod key and was very upset. I called the owner who reassured me this wasn’t a problem. As John has a spare. Once we got back to the pod he had already put it in the key safe box for us. What a Stella owner and caretaker. Both excellent. Thank you so much for your kindness. It’s a shame the magi’s rosso bike shop had closed down and we both think it should open as a little cafe or even better a pub I think that would attract more people as this is in the middle of nowhere but for us that was the attraction. Beautiful place. Even has a fire pit we had 2 late night bbq. Watching the flames dance in the darkness. There was even a few sachets of coffee tea sugar and milk left for us. Which I was very grateful as didn’t bring any. At the top on the field is a small play area a couple of swings and a climbing frame. If you like peace.quiet and to be at one with nature this is your place.

The only things it could have done with was a bath mat to step out on. And a garden umbrella as no shade at all as we like to sit on the deck but wow it was hot. But these two things are nothing bad. Just be a suggestion may be for the future.

Pod was clean, had everything you needed for a nights glamping. Lots of space and my daughter enjoyed the little play area Self check in. Saw no staff at all.

Disappointed that the on-site cafe is closed and will never be reopened. Bringing our 2 small chihuahuas added 40 pounds to the cost, which was not advertised on booking.com as an extra expense, so this went from being good value to not. Pods could have been better laid out as they are right next to each other, so no privacy when on your decking area.
