This is an ideal retreat for people wanting to experience life in the countryside, though in reality small villages and towns are within a three mile drive.
This is the perfect retreat. We had a little difficulty with the TV Wifi, but phone access was excellent.

Very comfortable home away from home. Great bed linen, complete kitchen and nice collection of books, dvd’d and cd’s to be used by guests.
Accomodation was great for us (couple in their sixties…).

The peace and quiet. The facilities - the space
There wasn’t anything that we didn’t like. Personally, I would have liked use of a washing machine but that’s purely based on our needs - people don’t go on holiday to do laundry, so this isn’t really a criticism. The facilities were excellent. The kitchen was so well stocked with cooking utensils. It’s really well thought- out.
