    No bidet in the toilet, but they do provide a bucket for cleaning. Not muslim friendly. Overall was good.

    I rarely leave negative reviews, but this was one of the worst hospitality experiences I have had. We arrived at approximately 8:00 p.m. after driving from Melaka. The first issue was that the entrance was difficult to locate, as there was no clear signage directing guests where to enter or check in. We called the property for assistance and were asked to WhatsApp the host. We were simply given another phone number and told to call that person. When we called the staff member who handled our check-in, the conversation immediately became uncomfortable. Rather than assisting us professionally, he repeatedly complained that we were “late” and kept asking why we had not informed the hotel of our arrival time. Throughout the call, he repeatedly said things along the lines of “dah lah lambat” and questioned why we did not call earlier. What was confusing is that there was never any indication during the booking process that guests were required to arrive by a certain time or notify the property if arriving in the evening. Like most hotels, we reasonably assumed that we could arrive and check in at any time within the property’s operating hours. The staff member continued to emphasize that everyone had gone home and that our arrival had caused inconvenience. He even questioned what would happen if we arrived at midnight and who would assist us. As a paying guest with a valid reservation, I found this difficult to understand. It felt as though we were being blamed simply for arriving at 8:00 p.m. We stayed for about 30 minutes before deciding to leave the hotel. After checking out, I noticed a sign at the reception area stating that reception operates until 9:00 p.m. and that guests arriving after 9:00 p.m. can use self-check-in via WhatsApp instructions. Since we arrived at approximately 8:00 p.m., we were still within the stated reception hours. This made the repeated complaints about us being “late” even more confusing. Although we eventually completed the self-check-in process and entered the room, we were disappointed with the room itself and decided not to stay. After approximately 30 minutes, we returned the key and access card, recorded a video showing that everything had been returned properly, and informed the staff member that we were checking out. What happened next was the most uncomfortable part of the experience. While we were having dinner nearby, the staff member repeatedly called and messaged us. We chose not to answer because we wanted to enjoy our meal and had already informed him of our decision to leave. A restaurant staff member then informed us that the person calling appeared to be standing outside looking for us. We later saw a man whom we believe was the same hotel staff member walking around the area while continuing to contact us. Regardless of any misunderstanding, guests should never be made to feel guilty for arriving within stated operating hours, repeatedly reprimanded during check-in, or pursued after they have already decided to leave. Professional communication, clear expectations, and respectful customer service are basic standards in the hospitality industry. Unfortunately, the poor communication, unprofessional attitude, and uncomfortable interactions overshadowed the entire stay. We checked out within 30 minutes. -About the room One thing that future guests should be aware of is the bathroom layout. The shower and toilet area are separated from the sleeping area only by a thin, semi-transparent curtain rather than a proper door or solid partition. While this may be an intentional design choice, it offers very little privacy. From the bed area, it is possible to see the outline of someone showering or using the toilet. This may not be an issue for couples, but for friends, family members, or anyone who values privacy, it can be quite uncomfortable. The bathroom also does not have a bidet spray. Instead, a pail and scoop are provided. This may be acceptable for some guests, but it wou
