Casa Chiara, appartamento nel cuore di Bergamo

Everything....Casa Chiara was a 10 in every single category. Size, cleanliness, location, style, etc. The host Ms Elisabetta was an 11 on 1 to 10 scale. She was very friendly and helpful. I enjoyed chatting with her.The apartment is bigger than many houses, with full kitchen, large bathroom, large bedroom and a large family room. It's in the prime shopping area of Bergamo, with boutiques, supermarkets and restaurants everywhere. The main train station is a 15 minute walk and the bus that takes you to Citta Alta for 1.70 euro is there too. Bergamo is often overlooked because Como/Varenna is close by....but Bergamo and it's upper city aren't just beautiful - they're magnificent. Bergamo reminds me of planet Caladan and House Atreides from the 1984 Dune Movie

It is located at the center of Bergamo, in the center of the shops and also 10 minutes walking from the main train station.

The wooden parquet makes sounds when you walk on it.

Apt was very central in Citta Brassa (new town), 5 mins walk to bus stop for bus to & from airport. Close to Citta Alta (old town) 15 min walk or you could get the bus as rather a steep climb. Apt very clean, comfy bed, home from home. Plenty of restaurants, bars & shops on your doorstep. Good communication from host Elisabetta. Highly recommended this apt, I would definitely stay again.

If you have mobility issues apt is on the 2nd floor & no lift. The shower in apt is quite small & not a walk in shower, but plenty of hot water. Bit of street noise but that's to be expected with the central location & it didn't bother me & I had Windows open of a night as rather hot as no air con
