Overall spacious and well located apartment with a comfortable bed.

The pigeons roosting above the door and bathroom window left daily messes on the pavement which I consider unsanitary. The pins to keep the pigeons away don’t seem to work.

A lovely stay in a great location with smooth communication — we’d be happy to return.

Communication was very clear and smooth, which made it easy to find the location and access the keys. The apartment is lovely and in a great location. We had a really nice stay and would definitely love to come back again.

Nice apartment in a great location. Close to bars restaurants and train station. Host let us leave our bags safe as we had a later flight.

We were very disappointed with the condition of the property and left after one night.

The location of the apartment.

The apartment was dark and not clean.It was dusty and needed some maintenance.There was no dishwasher as listed. The staircase had a very unsteady handrail and was badly lit. The toilet flushed intermittently.The apartment is on the third floor and the lift only goes to the second floor you then have to go up badly lit stairs

Fabulous large apartment in real Italian style. Fits in perfectly with lovely Bergamo. Nice balcony 10 mins walk from train station and funicular. Excellent host would recommend the apartment and Bergamo

Really clear instructions to enter Just remember that the lockbox is located by the lift entrance Host is super fast at responding anyway. The cleaning lady this morning was very cheerful. Apartment is huge and near all the shops and restaurants

Lots of light bulbs not working. A lovely looking bath, but unusable as there was no plug, not a plug for the sink to wash up. Lovely sunny balcony but no furniture to sit on

Excellent except for the A/C.

Excellent location, traditional style apartments, large wooden beams and floors, extended balcony to seat 4 comfortably. Delicious ground coffee and stove top coffee maker! Apart from air conditioning, everything else was excellent.

Request for extra beds was not responded to. The air conditioning was not sufficient for the property, which made for an uncomfortable sleep.

Great spot, needs a new boiler

The location is brilliant, very central for the new town centre and only a 5 min walk to the funicular upto citte alto. Loads of good spots to eat and drink very close. Also only a 15 walk to the train station and the bus to the airport only a 3 min walk too

The apartment could be a bit cleaner, the air con didn't really work so when really hot outside is a bit of a scorcher! However the biggest issue was the boiler, I had to reset the boiler everyday sometimes twice when we both had a shower. I reported this on our 2nd day. Somebody came up and reset the boiler then told me there was no issue with it, when I questioned whether it's happened before I was told that it hadn't and there had been no issue for him to solve. This was just nonsense, they left the cover off the boiler obviously knowing they would be back. Thankfully I know how to reset a combi boiler, however lots of folk probably wouldn't. After the blow off from the repair guy I just thought what's the point in reporting again....

An excellent choice for visiting Bergamo and the surrounding area

Excellent location a few minutes from Cita Alta, the center, the train station, close to the airport. Excellent value for money. The apartment is very spacious, very cozy, with two bathrooms perfect for a family with children or for two couples

Although the value is excellent for the money, a few repairs should be made so that everything would be perfect.

Good value for the reasonable price.

The apartment was spacious and clean. Everything needed for short stay was in it. It is fair to say that the apartment is not so modern, a bit old, although it wasn't issue for use. Having coffee and tea to use was nice. Apartment is located close to the city center, short walk from the old city. The area was quiet and safe.

As mentioned above, if you look for the modern apartment you might be a bit disappointed, but if you reviewed the pictures you shouldn't be surprised. From my perspective, nothing to complain about.

Lovely stay in Bergamo

We had a lovely stay here. The location is central with lots of bars, restaurants and shops nearby. The apartment was a little tricky to find but once it was found we were really happy. It is a lovely and unique apartment that was clean and very spacious. I would highly recommend and will use again in the future.

I dont know why this place is marked so high on booking.

The apartment was below our expextations when comparing to final note on booking. One of the beds was dangerous and unstable, making a lot of noise. Bergamo is a beautiful place worth our visiting but for sure we will not use this apartment again.

Lovely apartment, very good location

Lovely apartment in the city center. Iacopo is a very nice host making sure you have everything you need. The kitchen is well equipped, nice shower, comfy bed. I wish I had time to stay longer.

Romantic beautiful flat with a convenient kitchen & nice roof view in a great historic location.

It is a beautiful romantic flat in an old house - right under the roof. A little balcony is on the side of the roofs of the town and we enjoyed the view. There is also a terrace looking over a nice inner yard. We visited in March but it was warm and cosy in the flat. The flat has two levels connected with stairs. Very interesting and unusual design. One bed is in a big room under the roof and the other bed is in the studio room with a kitchen. The location is great in the middle of the town - you feel the Italian history around you and all the shops/restaurants are close.

I think this place is less suited for family with small kids or older people - the stairs is not very easy and kids can fall if not watched all the time

Great location just off the main shopping street. Good communication with owner and flexible and friendly on meeting. Fairly large appartment and plenty of authentic features

Appartment although rustic was a little dated particularly the kitchen and bathroom. Appartment a little dark. The appartment was on the third floor. There was a lift to the 2nd floor and then walk the last part. Not particularly easy to access.

Great location and comfortable

Very comfortable, great location and spotlessly clean. Host was very helpful and was waiting for us when we got there. Restaurants close buy and a fabulous organic fruit and veg shop . Supermarket is five minutes walk away . We had a wonderful time enjoying the old town and new town as we were right in the middle of both. We will stay here again.

The space in the apartment was great. Central heating a bonus when it's been cold out. Great size fridge. Beams we're amazing and rustic.the location was spot on . Everything you need on your doorstep.

The mattress dipped in the middle a little and the shower head would have been nice with a little more power.

Superb

We stayed at Bergamo apt for 4 nights in mid December with my daughter and we had a totally satisfying experience. Iacopo was very helpful when a problem arose and solved it immediately. Apartment n 1 is spacious and cosy, with beams and a characteristic view on the roofs of the city. The address is in the middle of the centre of Bergamo Bassa, in a small street with elegant shops. Nearby, you will find supermarkets (one of which open until 23:00), pharmacies, clothes shops, in the pedestrian area of via XX Settembre. The Station and Funicolare for Bergamo Alta are at close distance, as well as bus stops. Despite the quite basic equipment of the kitchen (soon to be renewed, as they told us) the real plus was the location: a luxurious condominium, made of a mix of old and modern buildings, around a wide pedestrian area , green and quiet. I definitively recommend it
