My experience with the place was very good overall. The location is excellent, close to restaurants and shopping streets. Communication with the host through WhatsApp worked really well, but before arrival the communication via Hotels.com didn’t work properly – some of my messages didn’t go through, and vice versa. Still, I was very happy with the host, and the stay was great thanks to the perfect location.

We felt at home since the studio is very well equipped and being so close to the shops made our stay even easier. The area was quiet and we felt safe as well. The studio was comfortable for our family and truly spotless.

One of the worst experiences. Our flight were canceled and had to rent car and then take train to Bergamo. Informed property several times we be late and we would get in by 11 PM. Despite that no flexibility to accommodate was shown despite family of 5 with kids. We sent over our friend to retrieve key on our behalf, but the staff and owner refused to give her. We called Hotels.com support few times and a support staff, Vijay, talked to allow us check-in late, which Donizetti staff member (Andrea) agreed and told our friend. However, when we arrived, there was no one and no one would answer our call or texts. As we were traveling all days with 6 suitcases, we had no choice but check in to nearby hotel. Next day they won't let us stay even we paid in advance stating some made up policy of 4 nights stay and as we were late, they canceled out reservation and we were out of policy. Total fraud and rip off. I called Hotels.com and my credit card to report fraud. We also noticed a Pest Inspection signed on the property stating the property cannot be used unless it passes inspection. How could they lie to customers and Hotels.com on their poor property conditions. In nowadays, people have keylocks and code is given upon payment so you can check-in. That's how we did in our last Athens stay. If you cannot accommodate people, then don't bother renting to take advantage of tourists with ripped off policies. These guys are total fraud and trying to take advantage of tourists.

The apartment was clean and had everything we needed. The location is great, close to the airport and the center. They have parking space which was very nice ( additional cost) . The host was very polite and helpful. He also was kind enough and let use the parking spot for a few hours longer, while we walked around, before we left for the airport. Great place.

Great stay and very helpful host! The location is amazing and the city is great during Christmas. Heating the room was a bit challenging as the radiators are small. Also, one thing that was not properly communicated in the room description was the fact that our room instead of a proper bed had a sofa bed. I do not see the point of having a sofa in the studio as it did not make any sense.

I can highly recommend this place as one of the best accommodation in Bergamo. The location is excellent; you just went down from the apartment and you are in the city center surrounded by shops and places where you can eat or drink. Right next to it is a small Carrefour Market, so you can make a supply. The host was very friendly and provided us with everything we needed. The apartment is very clean and well kept and the host gave us all the support we needed to spend a few beautiful days in Bergamo.
