Cute converted mining cottage, kitchen was well equipped. Shower was a good size and hot.
Smell of damp and foyst on entering, door mats were damp and left a smell and this stayed and these are in the sleeping area. Bathroom sink very small and shelf placed above it so you can't get in to wash your face.

Perfect quick stop stay for us, very comfortable with everything you need, beautiful views, friendly host, clean facilities. Village is beautiful, peaceful and quiet. Wish we could have stayed longer this time but we will be back! We had no trouble driving our little Hyundai down to the parking space

Fantastic location for walks to Matlock and surrounding areas. The Loft Cottage has everything you need and the history of the cottage and village is amazing
