Chestnut Farm Holiday Cottages

We stayed for 3 nights at this lovely little cottage on the farm and it was exactly what we needed after working so hard. The setting is wonderfully calm and serene, perfectly embracing the beautiful British countryside. We had a lovely, restful time with excellent sleep every night. The cottage is also very conveniently located – all the Peak District attractions are within a 30-minute drive. Kevin, the owner, was incredibly friendly and kind, and we really appreciated him letting us check out a little later even though he had a photographer arriving. Highly recommended! Thank you.

Would be nice to stay longer!

We had a lovely stay at The Farrows! The cottage was very comfortable, clean, and well equipped. There was a lockbox to get the key upon check-in and we were promptly sent the code around 3:45pm, no issues at all. There were very helpful directions on finding the farm sent a few days before, would recommend following them as we had no problems driving in at all. We met the new owners on arrival and had a very warm welcome. Although we stayed during the heatwaves (35C temperatures), we were able to visit a few places in the mornings - the cottage was in a nice quiet location but with easy access to attractions and the Peak District. Will definitely be coming back!!

My stay at Chestnut Farm Holiday Cottages was exceptional. The accommodation was immaculate, well‑equipped, and clearly maintained with great care. The farm setting created a calm, scenic atmosphere, and the hosts provided excellent communication throughout. Every detail—from the comfort of the beds to the thoughtful touches around the cottage—made the experience feel special. A fantastic place for a relaxing countryside break.

Very well presented cottages with everything you could wish for. Spacious kitchen and living rooms. Ideal for family groups. Very helpful & friendly owners. Great location.
