My husband and I had a wonderful stay at The Dairy at Chesnut Farm. The hospitality was exceptional and the cottage was very well equipped for our stay. The kitchen provided everything we needed for cooking a range of meals, we have stayed at a lot of cottages and this one was by far the most set up for self catering. The animals were an added bonus for me and getting to meet and feed them, especially the gorgeous pigs was a real treat. The location was great for exploring the local area and the nearby pub, The Barley Mow, was a very friendly local pub with good selection of drinks and excellent banter.

Wi-fi was as advertised. Rural location excellent for country walks, getting out and about in The Peak District. The hosts Kevin and Nikki were very friendly and left us nice 'welcome gifts' we especially enjoyed the fresh farm eggs.

We loved the location, it's quiet and peaceful, local facilities are great and only 10mins drive away, the owners are lovely and cannot do enough for you
