About this cottage rental

A short distance from hiking and biking trails, a golf course, and more, this pet-friendly cottage lets you experience it all. There's convenient onsite parking, so you can leave your vehicle behind and head out to Matlock Parks Country Park and The Grand Pavilion, Matlock Bath, just a short walk away. If you're looking to expand your horizons and see other nearby locales, you can catch a train at Matlock Bath Station, located within a 5-minute walk of your stay.

The kitchen is equipped with a refrigerator and a dishwasher, as well as an electric kettle, cookware, and a toaster. And you won't have to pack extra clothes, because you'll also have a washing machine.

Accomodation was larger than it looks in the photos, which was a nice surprise. The beds were comfortable, however I would take earplugs as I struggled to sleep due to the cars going past outside. I had to go and buy some from the town centre. At night the cars whizz past really fast. The listing states that there is free parking but this isn’t true- you have to pay for it. I have asked Hotels.com to amend this as it’s false advertising. The reason we booked this hotel was for the free parking!!! Luckily we got parked ok in the train station car park but had to pay £15 per car. In the afternoon however the car park soon fills up and people drive up and down looking for a space. We’d stay here again due the location and the charm of the building.
