Some doors didn’t lock property which isn’t good for privacy Floor boards were cracking Bed was adequate but my brothers couldn’t sleep properly they were ok for one night. Living room chairs were ok, tv was quite slow Door to open apartment is quite difficult For the price of the property it was quite dear especially because the beds are quite hard on my back. My bed at home is more comfy. As well as this the fact I couldn’t cancel due to family emergencies which shows that the host doesn’t allow any flexibility with the accomodation.

A real gem and highly recommended.

What a delight! We knew the apartment was over two floors but were taken aback by how spacious and stylish it was. The outside area alone makes a real difference and, although it was a hot, busy weekend with lots of traffic on the main strip, the courtyard was quiet and cool. Equally, the additional glazing within the property really reduced the sound of traffic to a point it wasn't really noticeable. We didn't use most of the facilities due to our brief stay and no real need, but the Ninja airfryer, microwave, washing machine and dryer are great touches which I'm sure are appreciated by many. Highly recommended.

Nothing stands out, maybe the option of a later check out given we left on a Sunday - but that's it. The only thing I would say to anyone travelling to the area for the first time is that parking can be an issue as Matlock Bath and the surrounding area are extremely popular with day visitors. Obviously not a fault of the property, but would suggest getting there early morning or late in the afternoon if you need to make use of the car park by the train station.
