Lovely cottage. Very comfortable beds. All facilities good. Lots of books available to read. All in all a great stay.

Loved the location , the beds were very comfortable , TV and WiFi good
Tea towels washing up liquid etc provided
Clean bathrooms
Warm
The duvet in main bedroom was stained and pillowcase was dirty
Washing machine had no instructions
No airer
Washing machine dispenser was mouldy
Tap in bath needs looking at
Dishwasher needed cleaning
We did read that the cooker was slow and didn’t get very hot but it did prove a bit of a problem to use the oven because of this .
Cobwebs in quite a few rooms
No hanging space in one bedroom

Fab space for family gathering, able to cook together and each had our own bedrooms. Bonsall village was lovely and a short drive to busy shops and pubs in Matlock. Loved visiting the Barley Mow just a 10 minutes walk!
The downstairs shower room is a bit of a squeeze, we're a tall family so we had a few bumped heads as the cottage is very traditional with low ceilings.
