About this house rental
Vacation home for 7 guests, 103 m², in Walchum
A beautiful and lovingly furnished vacation home with an unobstructed view of the swimming lake.
A beach-like atmosphere right in front of the house, which is fully equipped.
3 bedrooms, accommodates up to 6 adults (plus 1 baby in a crib).
All bedrooms have a TV.
The first floor features the following rooms:
- Large living-dining room with open kitchen, wood-burning stove, and access to the patio
- Bathroom with shower
- Utility room
Rooms on the upper floor:
- 2 bedrooms with double beds and access to the lake-facing balcony (seating available on the balcony)
- 1 bedroom with 2 single beds
- Bathroom with shower
The terrace is partially covered and fully faces the swimming lake. The terrace can be shaded with an awning.
Beautiful garden with a lawn, largely fenced in.
1 carport, parking space for a total of 2 cars at the house.
The swimming lake right in front of the house also has a section for non-swimmers.
An even larger swimming lake is located just under 2 km away. And a particularly great swimming lake with a water ski facility is located just about 8 km away.
Within walking distance is a small restaurant with an outdoor terrace, a mini-golf course, and a children’s playground.
In the lake park, just a few minutes’ walk away, there is also a small heated indoor swimming pool available for rent (approx. 9 x 4 m). This can also be booked on-site. There is no pool in the vacation home itself.
The nearest supermarkets are located about 2 and 3 km away, respectively, both with bakeries, in the town of Walchum. The nearest larger towns with big supermarkets, about 10 km away, are Dörpen, Haren, and Lathen.
There are VERY many options for day trips in the area. And it’s just over an hour’s drive to the coast. The town of Papenburg, which is well worth a visit, is only about a 30-minute drive away, and Leer is about 40 minutes away.
Upon arrival, the beds will be made, and one large and one small towel will be provided for each booked guest. The linens package also includes 2 dish towels. Every vacation booking must include a linen package.
Group gatherings and parties are not permitted here!
