Riad Almonds Marrakech

The breakfast at the rooftop is amazing. The room is cozy and feels very welcoming!

The bathroom could use some maintenance, nothing dramatic though !!

Nuestro sitio favorito de nuestra estancia en Marrakech! Es increíble como desde el primer minuto Omar y su equipo te hacen sentir como en casa. De verdad que una parte de mí se queda hoy aquí con ellos. Nos han tratado como familia desde el primer momento y no nos ha faltado de nada. La habitación muy acogedora, cama super cómoda y ducha con buena presión y temperatura. Desayuno riquísimo y casero. El riad se encuentra a 3 min andando de la plaza Jma el Fnaa y Omar nos acompañó el primer día para que viéramos dónde estaba y dónde podíamos comer. Conexión wifi perfecta y gratuita. Era mi cumpleaños e incluso soplé las velas con ellos mientras me cantaban. Han sido unos días muy especiales y únicos. Gracias Omar y compañía, nunca os olvidaremos y ojalá volver pronto y hospedarnos aquí de nuevo!

It is a cozy property in an old riad in the bustling and narrow lanes of medina. As a solo backpacking traveler, I didn’t mind traversing the narrow lanes. It is within walking distance of most of the tourist sites in Marrakech. Bahia palace, El badi palace and Jemaa el-Fnaa are within 10 minutes of walk. The breakfast was splendid and highlight of the stay. The staff were “mostly” very friendly and welcoming. They can also store your luggage for few hours.

Because of the old structure, the walls in my room were damp and the floor was kind of wet when I checked in. Toilet accessories were substandard. Also the ground floor rooms directly open in the reception area and there are no windows to outside. So it might get cramped if you are staying for long. They placed some unofficial 12am curfew time after which apparently there will be no one to open the main door of the riad. I didn’t attempt to try my luck.
