Dar Mawa, a 1 min de Jemaa el Fna

La vivienda está muy completa, tiene 2 hab con camas de matrimonio grandes y muy cómodas, un baño en cada habitación y otro más en la entrada completo. En la planta superior está un saloncito con una cocina grande y con todo lo necesario y da a una terraza muy acogedora e íntima con una mesa grande y taburetes. Es increíblemente céntrico, estás a 3 min andando de la plaza Jemaa El-Fna pero lo suficientemente interior para no escuchar nada, tampoco hay mezquita cerca, por lo que, no se escucha la llamada a la oración de madrugada, cosa que se agradece y no te interrumpe el sueño. Tiene ventanas al exterior y puedes abrir y airear sin problema, ya que, están en primer piso. La comunicación con Soufiane y Jennifer fue fluida y siempre dispuestos a ayudar en lo que hiciera falta. Fue una buena experiencia y recomendable.

A nosotras no nos supuso un problema pero las escaleras del interior son muy inclinadas, casi verticales y para las personas con movilidad reducida no es recomendable.

A localização, limpeza e simpatia do anfitrião

The property was very central to the Jemaa el Fna square, about 5-10 mins walk and through the souk, and near a useful shop and veg. stall if you chose to cook or buy necessities. Breakfast was not included. There was a fantastic outside terrace which was lovely, the property opp. was being developed ( April 2025) and there is a beautiful terrace in your view. It is in a quiet part of the neighbourhood. Kitchen available (see below) if you want to cook, make breakfast etc. Small, basic but pleasant 2 bed apartment. The host was helpful and welcoming when bringing us to the flat and bottles of water were provided.

Neither one of the showers worked properly, they were too hot or cold and we couldn't seem to get it to warm, so had to use the very dark shower room downstairs. Also the shower curtains in the 2 bathrooms were inadequate so water went everywhere, which needed to be mopped up after. I think the bathrooms could do with a refurb. as they looked old and tired. You may need to ask for clean towels, which we did and were provided. We did use the kitchen and cooked, utensils were not very clean, so we had to clean everything i.e. pots, pans, frying pans, and gas cooker beforehand. Some pots and pans may need to be replaced, and perhaps basics provided i.e. oil, herbs, spices, tea, coffee, milk, but kitchen is adequate. Fresh mint was provided though, which we replaced on our departure.
