Incredibly friendly and accommodating owner who was eager to help us however he could! Close to a lovely part of the souks - very central but still feels tucked away from the chaos. We stayed in 3x riads total, and the room here was our favourite. Clean, comfortable, spacious and beautifully decorated. Generous breakfast included too. Felt really relaxed our entire stay and would definitely come again.

We had a great stay at Riad El Maktoub. The location is excellent, making it very straightforward to get around and explore.
The room was comfortable, spacious, and spotless. Breakfast each morning was very good—fresh, generous, and delicious.
The service throughout our stay was top-tier. Ismail was welcoming, attentive, and incredibly helpful, and the entire team was friendly, professional, and reliable. Everything ran smoothly from start to finish. Highly recommended.

We had an amazing stay here and would highly recommend it. The only difficult part was finding the riad for the first time. Google Maps can be confusing in the narrow streets. On our way, a man insisted on “guiding” us even after we repeatedly declined his help, and then demanded €20 when we arrived. So I would recommend contacting the riad directly for directions rather than accepting help from people on the street.
Apart from that, our experience was wonderful. The manager, Ismail, is an absolute gem. He gave me his number and told us to message him anytime if we needed help, and he guided us with everything during our stay.
The breakfasts were amazing, and the cute little pool was such a relief in the 42°C heat! The lady who looked after the cleaning was also incredibly sweet, always smiling and offering us mint tea whenever she saw us.
The riad itself is beautiful, welcoming and within walking distance of many tourist attractions. A genuinely lovely experience and a place we would happily recommend!
