Excellent location to start your holiday in Morocco.
Quiet side street in the middle of the souks, peaceful within walking distance of the main square and the fascinating souks.
Very friendly staff, excellent breakfast on the rooftop terrace.
Nicely furnished rooftop terrace, nice to eat outdoors, but the view itself isn't astonishing (see picture).
Arrival with heavy suitcases was a bit difficult (a 300m walk along a bumpy path, as there's no parking closer) and difficult to find. Be aware, we arrived while raining. Dry without puddles would have been easier.

Beautiful, welcoming, and hospitable staff. Very clean and comfortable rooms, good location inside the Medina, and genuinely lovely staff. We had an early departure and the staff sent us off with a little packed breakfast! So lovely!
We only had one night and that was unfortunate! We could’ve stayed longer!
The beds were also quite hard but that seems normal across Morocco

The authentic atmosphere
The bathroom in the room had no ventilation, which caused the room to smell like sewage the entire time. The excursions offered were not at the level expected for the price that was charged. The breakfast was limited and repetitive. For the transfer to the airport, instead of a hotel shuttle, they called a taxi for us, even though we were charged €20, while if we had called a taxi ourselves it would have cost only €7.
