Disappointed

It was a nightmare trying to gain access as the owner did not communicate at all, had to go via booking.com, got given the wrong code then had to eventually communicate with the owner via a the ring doorbell. This actually made me feel quite uncomfortable knowing we were being watched to be honest. When we finally got in we discovered the hob did not work so the food we bought on our way there was completely wasted and we ended up paying twice as then had to eat out. The kettle had 2 rotten eggs in side it, they absolutely stunk so don’t know how long they were there obviously we realised we weren’t the first to discover the hob doesn’t work, and the cleaner obviously doesn’t do a great job. The house itself is lovely, the location is perfect and we enjoyed the space but not being able to cook completely defeated the object of booking this place. They need to do some work on repairing the hob etc as it would’ve been cheaper for us to be in the premier inn. Also the check out time of 10am is far too early in my opinion. Midday is when you would usually expect
