This space is very private with a secluded patio that overlooks a red rock formation and is likely to provide some great wildlife viewing. Enjoy watching the horseback riders venture by all day, departing from the stables 2 blocks away! Less than 5 minutes to Manitou Springs or Old Colorado City.

The main house, which we occupy, was built in 1947 around the time when this area was a large cattle ranch. Since then the private apartment attached to the back of the home has built and beautifully remodeled for your comfort. We have tried to anticipate the needs of our guest to make this the most enjoyable visit you have ever had to the Springs!

Things to be prepared for:
-The place does have a brand new AC window unit in the main living space. The additional rooms have small fans for added circulation.
-baseboard heating is present in all the rooms. There is a thermostat in the main living space to control the temperature at your leisure.
-No covered parking available

Colorado Weather:
We are excited for you to enjoy our 360 days of sunshine, but the mountains make things very unpredictable!
In the summer, please prepare for possible afternoon showers.
In the winter, please prepare for possible snow fall, but don't worry it usually melts quickly!

We have no children, but a sweet mini Berniedoodle who is very friendly and enjoys watching the horses walk into the garden from the front porch.
