I always come to the Rainbow Lodge because it’s close to my family. It’s a home away from home.

The furniture is so luxurious everything comes from the Broadmoor and still has the Broadmoor bees on it. The sinks and everything that are put in or high-quality, especially for the rate that you pay their kitchens are equipped with everything you need.

Literally, the only thing that could be missing is a hot tub. I really love it there.

The motel was nice on outside and we likeded the old school vibe and was a good deal for what it was

The room was clean and the bed was comfortable. It had a small kitchen that was nice but we didn't use. The bathroom was clean.

Some sort of room freshener and laundry sheet were used. We prefer fragrance free places. The toilet needs a new flapper and ran some causing noise.

Charming motel

Charming old fashioned motor inn. The location was great. The bed & pillows were quite comfortable. The place was quiet, and very spacious. We were able to park outside our room.

The lamps had very dark shades & the bulbs weren't very bright, I had to pull the night stand away from the wall to plug in my phone charger, it would not fit in the outlet on the lamp base. The bathroom could use a shelf or 2 for your toiletries, another towel rod & some hooks would be nice

I think I expected somethings little more modern

Very dated and everything was old but it was comfortable and as clean as possible .

The shower controls kept coming off . There was no kettle and the coffee machine was a very cheap me for coffee bags only . The beds were old and very noisy when you moved bug sheets and linen were all spotless

Great location for exploring the area

We booked the 2-bedroom unit. Perfect for us. Little deck overlooking the pool. We came for the hiking and the location could not be better (Garden of the Gods, Red Rock Canyon Open Space, and Pikes Peak). Had a microwave, little refrig and a small table with 2 chairs (no kitchen). Parked right out front. Grabbed some coffee and fruit for breakfast. Lots of restaurants nearby. I would stay here again.

You can't beat the location. We were going to garden of the gods and it was perfect. We have stayed here many years ago and was happy to see that it was still in business. They have upgraded greatly to stay in business. Good solid business. People couldn't ask for any more service. The beds were awesome

Its always a wonderful experience here

I've been here several times. Its our go to when we need to get some mountain vibes! Everyone there is awesome and accommodating. The pool is beautiful and relaxing. The beds are comfortable. The housekeeping ladies are very kind and thoughtful. There are gorgeous mountain views. A short walk away, there is a river and path that runs along it. There is a cute area for dogs to do their business. Every direction you look here There is something. Its well kept. Its not the boring corporate hotel. Its quiet and cozy. Almost like being a guest in someone's house.

I do wish there were half curtains so guests can have privacy and let in the sunlight during the day. The light bulbs used are very dim. Which is great to relax at night but it would be nice if the main light was brighter. So to create privacy and still have light come in from the window, we used hair clip claw things and clipped a towel to each side of the heavy drapes to create a half curtain that covered the bottom half of the window. So no one could see in to us. The top of the window was open letting in light and we could see the beautiful view outside offered by Rainbow lodge. There are really tall trees. This place is just so beautiful everywhere you look. Big flower pots full of colorful blooming flowers. Anyway I believe it was the owner, came to us as we were leaving to go shopping, concerned of the towel. I thought she was upset at me and I wanted to show her it was hair clips and no damage was done. Then she said, it just doesn't look good.. I looked up from the outside and she was right! It looked pretty terrible from outside! We didnt think of it that way, because to us we had privacy and a beautiful view of the place! So I took it down ofcourse once I understood the situation. That is the only thing I wish was different. A way to have privacy and still enjoy the view! Everything else is wonderful and I wish them all well and much continued success!

The description of the villa was lacking detail on the website. Just know the second bedroom has no AC unit in it, and there is only one shared bathroom between the 2 bedrooms. There is no privacy door for the 2 bedroom room but there is a privacy door for the 1 bed bedroom.

It was a decent motel in a great location; right next to Garden of the Gods. Nice to have a pool and the staff were very friendly. Coffee and fruit/pastry in the morning was a nice surprise.

Great Hosts, Super Clean, and Close to Attactions

Owner of facility was very pleasant. First impression was this facility looked like an older motel, but the surroundings were clean. The room itself had been updated with vinyl plank flooring, the beds were comfortable, contained a lot of seating areas, and was fairly quiet. It was also nice that this motel was conveniently located to popular sites. In the future, if we choose to visit the area again, I definitely would seek out this motel.

Our room was located in the back of the property, and although fairly quiet, the angle parking was a pain. There was plenty of parking but the only way to exit was to back out to the entrance, a real inconvenience when one has an inability to turn their head due to neck issues. It looked like there may be plenty of room to make these spaces perpendicular instead. If you don't have these issues then you don't have to consider requesting a room away from the back of the property.

the staff were so nice! the owners just live there and are there to help out with whatever! the house keepers were so friendly and so helpful. the Ned was super comfy and me and my boys had enough room in the room to relax and play games.

the microwave broke in our room (quit heating) but the owner just came right away and switched it out, so no complaint there!
