Clean room and bathroom, comfy bed and lovely shared kitchen/living room. Good communication with staff and easy instructions on how to retrieve the card to access the room. Possibility of delaying check-out available for extra charge.

The corridors leading to the room felt a bit dodgy and not as maintained as the room. The kitchenette was unusable as per the sign on it. Feels quite studenty, which could be a downside for mature visitors.

Inside the property was clean and simply furnished. The fan was essential given recent heatwave!

The external, communal corridors and outside was littered with rubbish that on first entering I was very concerned what I would find. Clearer marking of the individual apartments may have stopped somebody trying to enter my room at 11.55 one evening. The doors are heavy and have automatic closing mechanisms that, at night, are very loud when closing. The bare furnishing makes it all the more important that the ‘quiet after 10pm’ rule is observed as one night between the potential intruder and 12.30am I could hear people moving around and chatting. As it is a shared building it was also concerning that the external door to street was held open several times, obviously affecting security. The fact that the shower room is internal made it necessary to have the extractor fan work for a long time after the light was turned on, although someone had turned the isolator switch off before I got in… this can lead to damp and issues like silverfish (which were noticed in bathroom!) The extractor is very noisy!

Location great for Leeds centre. Nice and warm. Comfy beds. Spacious

The signage outside the property didn't match the name so took a while to find. Didn't realise it's a shared lounge altho actually no one else joined us, but we were wondering if they would. It needed a little more cleaning and polishing in places.
