Cornerways - Scarborough

Good for parking. I liked the open planning.

Mattresses were not comfortable as you could feel the springs coming through. Also the windows were not clean and could have done with blinds up at the windows downstairs.

The bedroom arrangement worked very well for us. The house was clean and provided most of what we needed. The disabled shower was very good. The hot tub was a good size. The local village shop was an unexpectedly good one. The village pub and play parks/recreation grounds were great spaces to take the children.

For the price, I had hoped for/expected a higher quality of finishes in the house. The table didn't have room for us all. There was a lack of mirrors, hanging places for towels and robes and very limited places to put toiletries in the bathrooms. The garden was mainly shingle. The outside furniture wasn't usable as the cushions were wet.

We liked the space in the kitchen and living room x

The house needs some t.l.c. The lamp was broken and dangerous x some of the seating on the sofa was not comfy x doors on the kitchen where loose x the hot tub had two leaks so they had put sticky tape on them but it was still leaking x and could not find a hose pipe to fill it up x upstairs some mattress’s need replacing and a little t.l.c x the outside could do with a little more grass and and the smell from the farm was sometime very strong x

The property was clean and tidy , ideal for the wedding we went to .

The second day was the wedding day , in the morning when we used the shower downstairs it became blocked and made it difficult for us to get ready, I phoned the agents up and explained the problems we were having,they came out and tried to fix ,that didn’t work so the next day the ordered a tanker to empty the the tank , unfortunately the downstairs toilet and shower still didn’t work, so this ruined our holiday and we probably won’t stay there again, I believe we should get a discount from the owners as it spoiled our trip to Yorkshire
