A comfortable, simple place to spend a night in a nice area of Hamilton.

The host was very accommodating with our needs and schedule. The neighborhood is quiet, yet close to cafes, the river walks, etc.

The accommodation was comfortable but rather basic. A few more utensils and another bathroom soap dispenser would be appreciated.

Very thoughtfully kitted out and clean. The owner is lovely and very responsive.

Nothing that really mattered. Would have been nice to have a clean cloth and sponge to do dishes.

The accommodation was physically fine.

The barking dog, which went off for 30sec to 2 minutes nearly every hour was terrible. It made it impossible to sleep and frankly made it inappropriate accomodation

A small but exceptional place that always delivers comfort, cleanliness, and peace.

This was my third stay at La Sol 2, and once again it didn’t disappoint. The place is exceptionally clean, well-maintained, and has all the facilities you need for a comfortable stay. The location is perfect - quiet, peaceful, and very convenient with close proximity to the University. It feels like a hidden gem that I’m always happy to return to.

Just be aware that the shower is over the bath and you have to be quite careful getting in and out of it as the step is quite high. If you have any mobility issues - it would be tricky.

Ideal location right next to the University of Waikato!

La Sol 2 exceeded my expectations in every way. The unit was spotlessly clean, tidy, and thoughtfully prepared, making it a very comfortable stay. Its location is perfect - just a short walk from the University of Waikato, which was ideal for my study days. I really appreciated the respect for privacy throughout my stay, and the check-in and check-out process couldn’t have been smoother. This property offers fantastic value for money, and I’ve already booked my next stay. Highly recommended!

Lovely owners. Very helpful. An excellent ensuite. Bath great.

It was clean and very well presented. The owners are lovely and put themselves out to make things comfortable for us.

It would be better suited for a short break than a 2 week break. I would have liked a closet to hang clothes but I believe owners are rectifying that. Great place to stay for a few days. Very pretty.
