Peaceful yard, neatly managed. The kitchen is well equipped and clean. Especially the dishwasher is good.

Two-faced hosts...

This accomodation were very clean and very comfortable. .

We stay 2times 3 days, we would like to book again thinking that all was fine... but the owner send us : "please don't book again because you use to much the kitchen and the laundry." We talked with host each day... never they say us something... always "no problem", "all is good" ... And at the last time... impossible to book again. We work in a farm, had a big day ... just cooked normally... Without communication we couldn't know that they were being disturbed... we are totaly desappointed of this lack of communication and this kind of reaction ... thank you for your hypocrisy... always a pleasure to talk with two-faced people... 🤮

We enjoyed our stay, it was in a nice area and everything was clean and tidy. The bathroom was big and everything suited our needs

Nice and good location but not as good value as you think

Location and large size room

The room was very hot the sun streamed in all afternoon and the curtains were too thin to block it out and the fan was very old and didn’t work well to cool the room also I found the price misleading with the addition of the service fee after booking

Home away from home

It feels like home. Everything is clean and tidy. The atmosphere is peaceful and quiet. I had a very good night sleep before driving another 4 hours the following day.

A good place for a large group to stay but be prepared to bring proper towels, your own pillows and eye masks

Spacious kitchen and dining room. The begs were comfortable

The pillows were old and thin and there were microfibres cleaning towels rather than regular towels. The main bedroom only had net curtains leading to very early morning wake ups -definitely recommend taking an eye mask

Not as good as it looked online. Tired and a bit dirty. No access to common area / garage.

Location was OK Staff were friendly and tried to help resolve issues Bed was comfortable

It didnt meet expectations: was a bit dirty / smelly. Dirty dishes in dishwasher from previous visitor (long time ago) had food scraps and had gone very mouldy /smelly / toxic. Not enough plates and cups or toilet paper. No towels until after we requested them. Dining table marked. One dining chair broken / unsafe. Another - the seat came off when picked up. No access to garage (marked as staff only). No access to living room (marked as staff only) - which wasnt clear before renting. So no communal area to say watch TV as a group. ( apart from kitchen / dining area ) Initial coms with owner / agent wasnt very good. We had to ring before we could get access as previous attempts via email / booking.com were unresponsive. Better after that though. We actually left 2 days early as we didnt like it / want to stay.

Quiet place not a horror movie

It was cheap but I love the peace and quiet. Had a good sleep. The only thing that woke me up are the birds chirping. Damn those birds. The linen are clean. They smell like they were ironed.

Exceeded our expectations with facilities it was like a home away from home

The location was perfect as we visited friends who lived nearby also we were headed north after our stay so this made it much simpler

My stay was pleasant. It was what I needed, given I was travelling for both business and a wedding.

Bed was very comfortable, but there was only one very light duvet on the bed. I feel there should be additional blankets in the cupboard should guests require one. To be fair, there was a heater in the room. When I arrived, the room was very cold (5 deg C according to the heater), but did warm up eventually, thanks to the heater.

James was rude, telling me to "settle down" when I advised that he had NOT sent me an email with the door code to enter the property. At the time of making the booking, I was advised that an email would be sent to me around an hour prior to my set arrival time of 16h00. Given I was much later in arriving, due to business commitments, I was left standing at the entrance, unable to get into the accommodation. Luckily a lady came to the door (I believe his cousin) who opened for me. Whilst I was standing at the door, James' email mysteriously arrived! He blamed "the system"... but would not acknowledge that he had NOT sent the code to me... I understand James owns and runs four houses, but feel he needs to be a little more professional in dealing with paying guests. I get this is a homestay and I get that it was very cost effective - it is NOT a B 'n B, so I was not expecting much more than a comfy bed. However, the room was VERY minimal - no glass for water, no extra blankets (given it is mid-winter) and James needs better processing of his entry system. To be fair, there was soap and shampoo in the shower, with a towel put out for my use. At 4am on Sunday morning, I was woken by a loud radio playing somewhere in the house. After lying in bed for quite a while, I went to investigate, eventually identifying that his "cousin" (who lives in the room directly below the room I was assigned in the homestay) had the TV blaring. I knocked repeatedly, until she eventually opened and I was able to ask her to turn it down so that I could get back to sleep. I get that cultures are different, but I feel if one has paying guests, there has to be a level of decorum. There was another guest in room 2B, so he/ she too would have been woken by this somewhat inconsiderate individual...
