Lakeside Lodge Valencia 2 bedroom

Good base for a couple of nights, looking out over the lake. Lots of outdoor furniture on the enclosed veranda which was great as we had good weather. Kitchen includes a dishwasher - but no dishwasher tablets provided.

The beds were so soft, felt like you were going to roll off - could do with new mattresses. The caravan is very close to the train line which is not mentioned but the trains are fairly quiet. The lounge sofa seating area not the biggest or most comfortable. The extra cleaning charge for a dog was £25 which was added onto the cost after I had paid. I think it should be included in the price but apparently it’s how booking.com work.

Very clean and modern with everything you need home from home shower was decent unlike a lot of caravan showers plenty of space to store food with fridge and freezer and overlooking small fishing lake which was beautifully relaxing especially first thing in the morning

A little bit out the way for main attractions however perfect for a relaxing get away

My grandaughter loved the ducks so great location, quiet and peaceful , everything I needed in the kitchen, great to have the extra freezer, lovely shower, double bed was very comfortable , very pleased you provided a fan

From the description list I was expecting an en suite but just an extra toilet so was disappointing, I feel that there was no room to hang clothes properly as all wardrobes were full with spare pillows and quilts, would rather not have used candle votives and empty hand wash plastic bottles left for my arrival , possibly find somewhere to store the ironing board other than in the corner of the bedroom. A little more attention to detail on some of the cleaning, the kitchen tap could do with descaling, the main windows at the front were not clean very dirty with the sun shining you could see it all and old cobwebs and im not sure if the decking had been cleaned dirty with a lot of old leaves, would have liked a broom for convenience as well as the hoover
