Mimosa holiday home

It was such a lovely caravan. The small touches left from host and everything was perfect. Couldn’t have asked for a better stay.

WiFi - be good to know if this was there and if it was a wifi password.

Always on hand for any questions and to sort out anything. Warm and welcoming. The place is exceptionally clean and is well presented.

The mattress could be firmer, it's a little too squishy, you sink into it.

Everything was on point! The pictures on here don’t do the place any justice, I felt like the place looks even better in person. Feels like home away from home, great price and good memories made. Perfect location to access and enjoy Essex beaches, Colchester zoo, and nearby Tesco.

No internet included!

The caravan itself is beautiful, warm, super modern, lots of storage for bags and great location. The outside seating areas were lovely.

When we arrived at first glance it looked great, but as we settled in we noticed there were some cleanliness issues, lots of hairs in the shower plug hole, dirty plates and bowls in the cupboard, (what looks like pee) stained bedsheets in the twin room. (My adult sister had to sleep on a towel because it gave her the ick) I really didn’t want to post this as an official review “bashing” the caravan at all, however I messaged the owner after we left just to give him a heads up about a few of the issues we had experienced, so they could make some changes privately, as our stay was mostly great and I felt these changes would make the next people’s stay absolutely amazing. but his attitude was immediately horrendous & very very defensive, sending emojis and said I was just nit picking (it seems there is no intention of improving the issues) So I’ll add on some extras to my “nit picking” list, sticky dirty area under kitchen table when we arrived, lots of crumbs in the kitchen utensils draw, foam bed in master bedroom felt like it has a huge hole in it and mattress corner that was visible under the sheets looked like it had brown stains on it. Those issues along with the pubes in the shower plug and the owners absolutely horrific, aggressive and combative attitude, would mean that I would unfortunately no longer recommend this caravan to anyone
