Isolated in the heart of nature with all the modern comfort...really wish we booked a longer stay!

Lovely people looked after us down at the activity camp and always available to help and assist (BIG thank you to Tamara, Alan and Joshua for the caring friendly advice given to us) The inside of the house is a high standard, nice, spotless, quiet, totally isolated and comfortable, the views are magnificent! We felt at home straight away. Loved the log burner; the reading material available; the nice bottle as a welcome gift; the toiletries offered; the basic condiments ; the activities on offer.

No Wifi. Outside furniture not super comfortable....maybe a wooden bench and table like in the outside restaurant? A microwave for convenience would have been nice. A bit tricky to get there (had to go through passport control and explain we were going to Grab!) and the last 15 minutes are up and down on unmade roads...

Country House Selo excèeded by far our expectations. The house was super clean and fully equipped and the location breath taking. It was also very confortable and perfect for a relaxing and recharging stay in contact with a wonderful nature. The staff warmly welcomed us and was very kind and helpful, making us feel at ease and at home. A special thank to Gordana who helped us during our stay. Unforgettable experience. Strongly recommended!

Everything here exceeded our expectations. The property is stunning. The most beautiful place with outstanding nature all around. Strikingly beautiful and quiet. We enjoyed mountain panorama all day long and a fire under the stars in the evening. Hosts are amazing, they make you feel yourself a special guest. Be sure to go for a rafting at Grab Camp and come for dinner and lunch there. That was the most tasty and lavish feast we have ever had in Montenegro. Foods, homemade teas and vines were superb. We felt very welcome every second of our stay.

Outstanding views and complete peace and quiet

House Selo is very modern and comfortable and was perfect for recharging our batteries after 2 exciting days canoeing the River Tapa, (thoroughly organised by Camp Grab). The location is outstanding, we enjoyed the beautiful views and the complete peace and quiet. We lunched at Camp Grab and relaxed around the fire at night watching the stars come out. It is not often you are so close to wildlife and the great outdoors, a thoroughly unique place.

Just be aware the nearest supermarket is 1 hour away. This is not a problem if you are prepared and we were! All meals can be bought at Camp Grab if you don't want to cook :-)

Very nice but...

The interior of the country house is wide, comfortable, freshly renewed, with good furniture. There are plenty of windows, with a wonderful view on the canyon, chairs and tables outside and even a “private” outdoor fireplace. A very quiet location and, at night, you can really see the stars up in the sky, which you simply can’t do if you live in a big city, as we do. There’s everything you need to cook in the kitchen, even a free bottle of red wine offered by the owners of Camp Grab. In summary, a very nice apartment indeed. We loved to spend 2 nights there !!

However there are a number of facts one should be well aware of: 1. Country House Selo is part of Camp Grab, which is located exactly in between the Bosnian and the Montenegrin borders. This implies that you need to cross at least two borders (!!) if you need to go out in Montenegro by car for whichever reason, four borders if you need to enter Bosnia Herzegovina and come back. 2. Leaving the main road, you have to go through about 10 km to reach Camp Grab for the check-in, many of which are narrow, steep and definitively VERY rough. Moreover, the house is about 2-3 km away from the camp. My car is an old one (Volvo V50), so I didn’t care that much. What about yours ? 3. No air conditioning, nor fans. You may think “No problem, there are so many windows…”. Yes right, but then be prepared to fight against horseflies and hornets. And believe me, it is a real fight ! By the way, there’s a nest of (giant) hornets just outside the window of the double bedroom. Why don’t the owners provide the windows (at least some of them) with a curtain so to allow to leave out as many insect as possible ? 4. The bed linen are old and very poor quality. 5. No wi-fi connection, unless you go to the camping

The chalet is great but the service and breakfast offer needs a big upgrade...

Interesting design for this chalet. The views from there are stunning. I loved the thousand of fireflies around the property!

Unfortunately, the way guests are treated is not up to the standards you'd expect when paying 90e for the night. We came 2 couples separately, and our friends who arrived first were not let to go to the chalet before we arrived and they had to wait outside in the dark... You feel more like you're in a military camp than in a vacation camp... Breakfast was "at " 9am, not from 9... There wasn't one vegetable or fruit at the breakfast table, only meat, cheese and eggs... Not vegetarian friendly... So, that left us with not really pleasant impression. We won't come back, that's for sure.
