Worst memories of Monténégro 😖

RUN AWAY (they will only steal your money.)!! House was dirty, infested with bugs and spiders AND TOTALLY UNSAFE for kids. We arrived with our 2 kids (2 and 6 years old) as detailed in our booking. Photos are lying and present the place much bigger than it really is!! The stairs are so steep they are an absolute danger to fall in! there is no safety barrier available. No one really cares. We had to leave the place and book another one in a hurry. The owner promised to reimburse us but did not hold on to its promise. We have literally been robbed !

The best stay we had for a long time!

It is a wondeful house in the mountains with a lot of space around to relax. It’s just 10 minutes ride from Herceg Novi. We loved that there’s a nice place next to the house to have a breakfast or dinner. Our kids liked playing with the cats of the owner. And the host himself is so friendly and hospitable! Always asking how we were and if everthing was OK. He even gave my daughter some money when we were leaving!

It is a beautifull remote location, with a great host, coffee and cake every day. Private garden and terrace. Peaceful, for us a perfect base to explore Montenegro.

beautiful house, isolated in the nature

The feeling was great while staying in the 300 years old stone house. House was beautiful, the patio was nice but we could not learn more about the environment and did'nt do much around the house because of language barrier. It was in the middle of the nature. Without car, transport would be a problem. At night, watching the stars and waking up with the sound of the rain early morning was beautiful. We even had a short electricity cut, and second day we couldnt have hot water for the shower but overall it was a special experience.

I wish there was no language barrier and we could have chat with the hosts.

Everything was great! The house is big, fully furnished, clean and the surrounding makes it even more special. Marina and Goran are stunning hosts! Everything was more than perfect. They took time to prepare food and coffee for us and we had beautiful conversations with them. :) I truly recommend this place, and I hope one day I can go back! Thank you for everything!

Ethno Village, an oasis of beauty,tranquility and peace.

Marija is a wonderful cook. The entire family was extremely kind, thoughtful,helpful, caring, attentive, and they solved many challenging problems for me. Their historc home is cozy, comfortable, and located in the heart of a mountain rural community where one can find peace, harmony, relaxation, tranquility, and beauty. The village has a bus that goes to town and then you can also visit the lovely coastal town of Herceg Novi. Ethno Village is the nicest cabin I have ever stayed. Thank you Milica, Goran, Marija, Gogo, George and Maxi. I send you all my love, best wishes and infinite thanks.

Quiet and clean .Perfect place for vocation .Goran is great host as well his mom Marija .She made great breakfast for us.When we arrived there was coffee and cake for us. We recommend this place and we are coming next September again .Thank you Goran and Marija for everything.
