We had originally booked a different apartment, however, that was not habitable & so at 9pm at night it was a case of see what was available & this was the Charlton. We were met at the property & told we could look around first, it was such a vast improvement that we accepted & took the keys. Well laid out with a king size bed in a separate room plus 2 sofa beds in the lounge. A good sized bathroom & a kitchenette with hob, kettle, microwave & drinks sachets. Great views & the place felt secure & clean. The guy who met us also returned the day we checked out to check everything was ok, great service!
Couldn't get the hob extractor to work, so opened the windows instead, no hardship, everything else worked well.

Host was really friendly and really helpful. Sent us a video of the apartment before our stay. Secured parking for us. It was hassle free our whole visit.
We didn't bring a hairdryer but I messaged to ask if they had one available and within minutes we had one brought to us. Just found them very accommodating.

The location on the sea front and there is parking available. We were upgraded to a sea view the room was immaculate and very clean this is my second visit but all I can say is go on their group chat on Facebook and book direct.
The hosts are amazing and on hand regardless of the time

Rooms very basic but clean
Although the couple looking after the hotel were friendly & helpful
The Charlton no longer looks on the outside as advertised on your site
Next door but one looks like a building site
Very basic
Electric heaters not very efficient at heating room
Thin duvets
Bathroom shower clean & worked well
No lamps for bigger room
But on request one was provided
Parking provided but expensive & had to park in hotel being refurbed
Reception of Charlton run down & shabby
