Queda a 30 minutos a pie de centro Málaga

I liked that the property was clean, modernly decorated and smelt lovely and I really liked Bea who worked on reception. She was a lovely welcoming person and was really kind and considerate. I understand that there were other amenities in the property such as a gym and co working space but I neither were of interest to me as I was on holiday and staying for just one night.

I felt really alone in the room in the shared flat. I understand that the rooms are for working professionals or longer-term stays, but the furnishings, although nice, felt very spartan, and I felt as if I was sleeping in an empty space, yet at the same time, I wondered who I was sharing a kitchen with, as I did not see them. This wasn't a nice feeling. and it made me feel a little uneasy. On the walkway outside my room there was also an automatic light which kept lighting up throughout the night and waking me up. I reported this the next day and was told that there was a blackout blind to use but I never saw it as the curtains were closed and there was no information about it, nor indeed any information about what was in the room. The only information I got was through a WhatsApp message, which did not mention these essentials. I wasn't keen on the fact that everything was wotsapped to me either. It seemed very hands-off and unwelcoming, and sometimes when you're travelling, you appreciate conversation and warmth. The fact that there was no sign outside, only door codes also made the whole experience unwelcoming, and I almost got back into my taxi to go elsewhere when not finding where the place was. Fortunately, for me Bea was still working and answered my telephone call. If she had not come to the door I might not have been able to access the property or been able to work out the door codes. To me, all these door codes, the emptiness of the room, which just contained the bare essentials but no soft furnishings or soul, sums this one up for me. Clean yet cold and sterile. Fit for purpose and for perhaps a long-term tenant to add their possessions to their rooms, but not ideal for a traveller wanting some comfort and cosy warmth. Finally, the property is too far away from the old town and in a slightly dodgy area. It took me ages to walk into town and ages to walk back at night. I wouldn't wish to stay there again for these reasons, sadly.
