El Nogal Home

The location is amazing. The beach is very close by and there are some great restaurants and pubs close by . Getting to the city centre by bus is very easy as you can take multiple lines. We loved our stay here.

The room was comfortable & the accommodation was only a 5-10 minute walk from the beach

The room looked out onto a busy road & some nights I had to keep the window closed because of traffic noise - this was a not ideal because of the heat. The "wardrobe" only had a hanging rail with several hangers but no drawers or shelving apart from the one above a refrigerator. I would gladly have foregone the fridge to have some shelves for clothes instead - also the height of there hanging area could have been better. The entire beach promenade area was like a large building site because of major works being carried out. This caused a restriction in the beach area itself, and no availability of sun beds, & meant that some of the promenade restaurants were not opening for business, presumable because of noise & cleanliness issues. As a result I spent most daytimes & night times in El Palo instead, which also had a much better availability of shops, banks etc, & was only a 15-20 minute walk from my accommodation. If I had known this at the time of booking, I would have chosen to stay in El Palo instead.

Great value, great facilities, comfy beds, great decor and lovely staff.

Clean and pleasant accomodation

Air conditioning didn't work, the room was very hot. Door didn't fit in door frame properly. Building work being carried out at the beach front so it was difficult to access or walk along the beachfront.
