Die Baustelle am und im Haus, welche mir verschwiegen wurde, war unerträglich! Ich wurde an allen Werktagen von Baulärm geweckt, welcher spätestens ab 8 Uhr begann. Es waren Baugeräusche durch einen Presslufthammer, Bohrmaschienen, Sägen, Schaufeln, leichte Erschütterungen und dumpfe Schlaggeräusche und das lautstarke Kommunizieren der Arbeiter zu hören. Der Vermieter reagierte nachdem ich ihn mit der Problematik konfrontierte einfach gar nicht mehr. Zuvor spielte er die Problematik und die Belästigung durch den Lärm herunter und bat mir keine angemessene Entschädigung oder Lösung vor. Er reagierte nicht mehr auf mein Anschreiben oder auf die von "Booking“. Mir war es nicht möglich mich in meinem Urlaub durch die beschriebene Lärmbelästigung zu erholen. Vor dem Haus befindet sich eine Toilette für die Arbeiter, welche einen sehr unangenehmen Geruch mit sich brachte. Außerdem war eine Feinstaubbelastung durch den Bau-Schmutz vor dem Haus und im Hausflur vorhanden. Ich war 8 Nächte in diesem Apartment. Auf Grund dieser negativen Erfahrungen würde ich den Vermieter nie wieder auswählen oder gewissenhaft weiterempfehlen können.

The location was perfect.

Gaining entry into the building on arrival, late at night in the dark, was extremely difficult as I did not have WiFi connection. I was a lone 72 year old female who does not have all the technology on my phone. Someone in the building had also locked one of the doors which further complicated the situation. How would you get out if there was a fire and in the dark as the lights were timed to go off. No hairdryer but the host eventually supplied one. No instructions for the safety deposit box, I needed to contact the host who explained with pictures on WhatsApp how to operate. No hot water in the bathroom, again contacted the host who verbally explained about the switches etc. An information sheet, about the safety deposit box and what all the relevant switches were for would be beneficial to future guests. Also, the host needs to contact guests at least 24 hours before their requested check-in time to update them with how to access the building, location information etc.
