The apartment was very spacious and attractive, maintaining original brickwork while adding modern kitchen, bathroom and separate toilet. The view across the river and up to the Basilica was amazing. The location is at the end of one of the main eating streets and there was a lovely market opposite on the weekend. It was a great place to stay.
It was hot while we were there and the air-conditioner was inadequate. We were not able to get the TV to work despite the best efforts of our host.... not really a problem as we were not in Lyon to watch TV, but catching up on news would have been good.
The bed was comfortable but bedlinen could be improved. The sheet barely fitted and was a bit worn and pilled. New pillows would be good.
