The place was absolutely fine, just one negative issue. We arrived at the place to find that an electricity charge would be added to our bill. Now I can see why you did this BUT the information about the charge was well hidden on the 11th scroll down page on your website, this does not seem an acceptable way to treat the people staying with you: the need for a charge should be up front.

The facilities in the hotel were amazing. The pool so warm which is unusual
The lodge was cold. And only 1 radiator out of 2 worked and it took them 3 days to fix

The location was quiet,
After our terrible experience in the restraurant we decided not to eat there and went into Ballater for our food. I objected to the extra charge for electric as we were no advised of this prior to our visit. It was not optional as the lodges are totally electric and are uninhabitable without electric. I would have had no issue with paying for extra electric as I feel a standard amount should have been included in the price. The staff did not deal with my queries/complaints.
