There is no cooking utensils and a gas cooker for cooking. They can improve on that

On arrival, the sign on the door read “My Happy Place.” Sadly, once inside, we found it to be anything but. Our biggest concern was that the property appeared to be considerably smaller than the advertised 27m². We are travelling extensively throughout the UK and have deliberately chosen accommodation with a minimum size of 25m², so this was an important part of our booking decision. In our view, this property did not reflect the size or standard we believed we had booked. Unfortunately, the size was only one of a number of disappointments. The crockery and cutlery were mismatched and very limited, with only one wine glass and one water glass provided for two guests. The laminate edging on the kitchen bench was damaged and torn, there were noticeable areas of missing paint on several walls, and the seal around the shower showed mould. The shower itself was extremely small, tiles behind the toilet had been left ungrouted, and exposed bathroom pipework was rusty and dirty. The dining table was a collapsible table which, when set up for use, made access to the bathroom extremely difficult. Overall, the accommodation felt cramped, poorly finished and in need of maintenance. In our opinion, the property would be more accurately described and priced as basic budget or student-style accommodation rather than presented at the standard we were expecting from the listing. We had booked and paid for two nights, but were so disappointed with the accommodation that we chose to incur the additional expense and inconvenience of finding somewhere else to stay and left after just one night. Unfortunately, “My Happy Place” was definitely not ours.
