Nice little get away

The Annex - perfect, but the issue needs addressing and ruined the stay

Thank you for allowing us to stop at The Annex, the property was in a lovely quiet location just out of the town, perfect size and had great facilities, everything we would want for our stay

When retiring to be was when we came across an issue, whereby, the bed was broken and it meant that we couldn't both share it..... I slept on the sofa, which wasn't ideal. The next morning, I looked closer at the bed to notice that the base, being a 2-piece divan, and the section nearest the headboard on the left was broken. When I sat or lay on that section I sunk inwards into it. This meant there was no support under the person who sleeps on the left, so that's why I had to vacated to the sofa, to allow my wife to sleep on the right. So, this meant neither of us slept very well, so we headed off home, and on leaving we did see anybody from the address to mention the issue too. This did spoil our weekend away for our 35th Wedding Anniversary......as I did expect to pay to sleep on a sofa, under a throw

Potential but few niggles

Close to the town, only 30 mins to walk and 5 to drive. Has all you need to be self sufficient and was very clean (apart from musty towels).

Bed was not a full size double and the apartment is a greenhouse despite having a fan we couldn't sleep as squashed up and baking. It was a hot couple of days so probably not a problem most of the year. Towels were musty and as soon as we used them and they were damp it was much worse. Shame as it's immaculate so probably a one off oversight where they were not dried properly. Also messaged prior to arrival and had no reply, we checked out after two days and had still not received a reply. Good job it wasn't urgent.

Excellent, well-equipped base for exploring Stratford.

Annex was very clean, well equipped, and nicely decorated with everything you'd need. It's only 5 minutes drive to the centre of Stratford. We'd stay again.

The annex is a little less private than we thought, as the main home's garden isn't separated by a fence. This didn't cause a problem, though.

An absolute gem - great accommodation in a great location.

Location was great for walking into Stratford upon Avon. A lovely self contained accommodation that had everything you could possibly need. It was spotlessly clean and the owners not only provided excellent instructions for on arrival but also checked in Via email to make sure we were ok. 10/10 would recommended/stay again.

It would have been nice to have parking outside the property but once parked it was fine.

Needs work to bring quality up

Host was nice and accommodating

Bedding had a strange odour, bed against a wall, couch position facing kitchen sink. Neighbourhood and neighbours playing karaoke loudly and sink in bathroom took an age to clear. No location related parking, had to park on grass in the street

A nice chalet but with limitations.

The location was perfect for an overnight stay as we were going to a festival nearby, the chalet was super clean and the bed comfortable, the owner even offered to let us park our motorbikes in their driveway for security. The chalet is fine for a couple of night stayover and the price for this region is reasonable.

We arrived on a warm day and the chalet was extremely warm, there is no air conditioning in the chalet and it was very warm trying to sleep at night, there was a small fan available , but even with all the windows open it was very warm. There is no table inside to sit and eat as there simply isn't enough space in the chalet, this was very clearly stated before we booked, there is a very small table and two chairs outside to sit at though not large enough to eat at.

Wonderful cozy apartment, clean and very complete to the last detail, absolutely perfect for a stay nearby Stratford! The host is very friendly and caring!! If we ever come back, we’ll get this apartment for sure!

Perfect!

Had a really lovely stay, Annex was just perfect for what we wanted, cute and cosy, had everything you could need for a self catering stay, location was relaxed and quiet, perfect for us and only a few minutes car journey to Stratford town. Communicatiom with the host was great, we liked the fact we were given all the information needed upfront so no need to ring/message hosts to ask questions or for information etc. We liked that we could just get on with our stay and enjoy! Thankyou!
