Great location for rail travellers.

Great location; 5 minutes walk from Crewe railway station to explore region by train. Room was nicely furnished (unchanged really from when this was a Holiday Inn) Generous provision of toiletrys.

Could not get the room as warm as I would prefer; (Air-Con control not responding)

Decent hotel close to station.

Good location for the station and easy access to town centre. Got sent key codes via message but staff on reception let me in and gave me a door code. Room was spacious, shower good, tea and coffee available. Bed was comfy and the room was very quiet. For the price I would stay again.

The place looks a little tired, used to be a HI Express and still has a lot of the old features. Could do with a refurb but it's good for the price

Wouldn't go back

The bed, the lift worked.

No heating, was given a portable heater in case we were cold! It was freezing (went Jan 26). No breakfast even though I had paid for it. Shower leaked

Good for short stay

Location next to Crewe station for a one night stay was the reason I booked this. Staff was great. Bed, bedding and Duvee was one of the most comfortable ever!

Good location for railway station and cheap - not a huge amount else to recommend

Stayed previously when Holiday Inn Express - booked short notice due to weather disrupting railway. Not sure has been cleaned since my last stay 5 years ago; room bedside lights covered in dust, various fixtures and fittings in a state of disrepair and damp in the bathroom. At the end of the day it was £50 for an emergency room and just about OK but how much effort is it to remove dust and deploy a vacuum cleaner. Went to nearby Starbucks for breakfast.

Worst customer service I've received anywhere.

Location was OK, as a stop over on our way to Scotland.

The attitude of the staff was disgraceful. I went to complain about the air con not working. "Yes, we know about that" Well isn't that room out of use until it's fixed. I also received a parking ticket for parking at the hotel. Parked wholly withing the disabled bay displaying a valid blue badge. When I contacted the hotel about it. The lady/person literally said, "Nothing I can do about it" and promptly put the phone down on me. Horrible attitude.

We arrived to a freezing cold room to be told the heating was broken. I reported the problem and the manager came and said he would try and get a portable heater and would be back in half an hour. We waited an hour and ten minutes sat in our coats freezing. I rang booking.com to log a complaint and left the premises.

Breakfast - no selection, hot food stone cold. Bedroom needs updated - dirty carpet, dirty silicone in bathroom, toilet roll hook held on by brown tape, sofa bed lop sided.

The room was nice, other than being very hot, but steer well clear of the restaurant!

The rooms were lovely, and the bathroom was excellent

The air conditioning wasn't working a the rooms were unbearably hot. The restaurant was extremely poor - the only dinner option was Chicken Korma, which we were only told once seated. The breakfast was shocking. The guy on the front desk was tasked with turning the coffee machine on, but had to be asked twice, and was visibly fed up, there were ants everywhere and the food itself was very poor quality. Definitely not worth the money!

Clean good size rooms

On check in the receptionist did not mention that the AC was not working, he only told me at Midnight when I was getting ready to sleep, its the middle of summer and they also put me on the hottest floor 3. When I asked about AC he told me its down in all of the hotel and i should try opening the blacony door!!, this should have been mentioned on check in, worst night with no sleep I have ever had in a hotel.

Good, clean, spacious

Convenient for railway station, luckily had a really nice comfortable, spacious front room with nice balcony area. Initially had a little problem with paying at check-in, but sorted reasonably quickly. Didn't have the breakfast but looked OK. Bathroom and shower up to standard.

The stay was OK. The team at the desk were not very attentive

I did not have breakfast. The location was good as only a few minutes from the station. The room had a desk for working and a separate chair for lounging. The beds were comfortable.

The bathroom need a deep clean. There was mould around the shower tray that could have been removed with some thorough cleaning. We complained but nothing was done. The room was tidy but did not feel clean. There was hard prints on the mirror from the previous guests which gave the impression that the cleaning was not thorough. There were lots of hair in the bed too. The meeting room needed cleaning, the table was sticky and the carpet was in desperate need of hoovering. Parking is paid for separately.

Hotel is very convenient for Crewe Station, not too far from town centre and right next door to McDonalds and ates on Express

Air conditioning/ventilation not working in the rooms, so the room was very hot. On arrival nobody on reception, so called the number on display, and that went straight to voicemail, so had to wait 10 mins for someone to check me in. Customer in front of me h ad been waiting for nearly 30 mins. In fairness when he did finally turn up (after he'd been sorting out a guest's room apparently), the person on reception was very apologetic.

Great value for money

I stayed here for 2 nights and I couldn't fault anything. The staff were very friendly, polite and welcoming. The rooms were super clean and the bed was very comfortable also. I would recommend this place to anyone staying in crewe for a short while

A budget hotel convenient for station and town

It's good for a budget city hotel. Rooms are a little smaller than average but shower room was great. Easy walk into town centre for supper so you don't have to suffer Maccy D's. Breakfast was a bit below par.

Staff onsite great, comms from management not so helpful

The staff at the property were really helpful and friendly. I loved having a little balcony.

The communication from the corporate offices was slow and unhelpful. I messaged to ask about early check-in on 5th June for my stay on 16th June. I messaged again on 16th June. I received a reply on 17th June, the day after I had already checked in, suggesting I spoke to the onsite team. There was a number to call which I tried on 16th June but that didn't go through to the property or provide an answer to my question.
