Although it was clean, the shower tiles/grout needed a spray with a mould and mildew killer. The fridge had seen better days.

Home from home

The staff were fantastic my partner had a fall and required stitches in his head and the lady who was there couldn't help us enough I can't remember her name (she was originally from Macclesfield) she was great with him and really caring with us both putting me at ease I can't thank you all enough 😊

There were no dislikes and we will definitely stay there again when we come to family events

We asked for vegan breakfasts and got a lovely cooked spread, with vegan marge and soya milk. The hotel was warm, very clean and comfortable. The hotel is very close to the railway station, in a quiet area, and our room was quiet all night. The staff were lovely, friendly and helpful.

Just adequate

The hotel was shall we say adequate the room we had luckily just for the one night was in my opinion a "workers or contractors" twin room I would of expected when I was contracting, but not not pleasant as I would accept for myself and my wife. The bathroom was due an update at a stage where the sealant and edges needed replacement making it feel quite tired and dirty I don't think the beds were unclean but very tired and I. Need of replacement, mine was leaning to the one side Overall the place was made welcoming by the pleasant and helpful staff, but even so I don't think I would use again.

More or less everything The staff made up for a lot my missgivings but like I say our room was what I would expect in a workers/contractors place I did not complain at the time as I could put up with the room for just one night but will not use again shame really as the staff were very good

Very friendly helpful staff. Allowed my friend to park her car in the car park while waiting for us to arrive. Excellent location for railway station. Really comfortable beds allowing us a good nights sleep.

A bath mat would have helped as I have a tendency to slip on wet surfaces.

A traditional hotel, good value, in an ideal location for the Station, very friendly staff

This hotel is ideal for the station, has a good free car park, and the staff are exceptionally friendly and helpful. The room was large and warm. A bit old fashioned , but neverthless comfy. While I was there , there was a problem with the hot water, briefly, the staff went out of their way to make sure I was OK until it was restored.

A very pleasant stay in a clean, calm, safe, economic hotel 5 minutes walk from the train station.

Staff are so friendly! Books to borrow, mattresses are firm, quilt and a cover - and the room has a desk too. Shower water pressure and temp excellence. Even a Scotsman (like me) can't complain about the cereal, coffee, toast, marmelade and fruit as well as the fried breakfast - all for the price of a cafe frothy coffee and a bun!

Maybe add veggie sausages to the breakfast rather than just giving more of the beans, hash browns and fried tomato. Shower a wee bit cramped (so be careful you don't alter the temp as you turn around) but manageable.

Exactly what I needed for an overnight interchange at Crewe station

The hotel was very accommodating, I had a late train and got in well after their reception closed but the night porter let me in. I found a lovely, warm, cosy room waiting for me to crash straight into bed, with a nice hot shower in the morning before I continued my journey. Exactly what I needed for an overnight interchange at Crewe station.

The room opened straight onto the dining area so there was a little noise early in the morning from something being set up -- didn't bother me but soft sleepers may get woken.
