Clean, friendly staff, nice hot shower

MY Room 315 on the 3rd floor, was very spacious for my 2 night stay.I booked a room here at the Ibis, mainly because of its location and on a personal recommendation. Shower was extremely good with complimentary showering shampoo etc. This hotel is used mainly by Contractors and for business meetings. The hotel is conveniently situated, has ample car parking space, and the customary Chargeing points for those clients using an electric power vehicle. My price for a Queen Bed with breakfast was 152.00 Sterling .I only had time for breakfast for one day, but, what was offered was very satisfying and fresh. A good selection of fruit juices, cereals, bread, and eggs sausage and bacon etc etc. I did not use the facilities offered by the hotel but I am sure they would be welcoming to other guests. Reception Staff were extremely helpful and very professional in meeting upon my arrival. Robyn,Paul and Bernard were the 3 people whom I met at Reception, very friendly and eager to please and assist to ensure guests have what they required. Should you require an iron etc, please ask at the Reception Desk. not all hotels have the budget to ensure EVERY room has such an item. With over 100 rooms to upkeep and maintain they all perform so well. There is a Bar and meal facility available, for the weary traveler. A very special thanks to the Cleaning lady who retrieved my International Driving Licence, and gave it to Reception. I mailed the Reception Staff, who have ensured it was kept safe until I made arrangement for its return to me. Robyn has now, I believe returned said document.

Nothing negative from me, I really enjoyed my stay at this establishment.

Good handy location with good parking, it’s cost an additional £8 for an overnight stay. The rooms were comfortable, compact and clean.

We stayed there whilst it was freezing outside, when we got to the hotel we were informed the heating was broken and we’re given a little fan heater. When using the heater the electric tripped in our room and we had to get someone out to come in and put the electrics back on. Also the TV struggled to get signal so the channels were on and off.

The location and car parking was good, it was good that there was a bar and gym on site

It was a shame that there weren’t more options on the 24hr food menu and some of the equipment wasn’t working

Breakfast was great, staff were very friendly and attentive, bed was comfy, hotel was quiet

More pillows, a spare blanket, more coat hangers and a shelf in the shower would have been appreciated.

All was good as stayed there a few times now.

Friendly welcome from Kim on Reception. Parking right outside (I had heavy bags) Toasty-warm room. View of gardens Walk-in shower Toiletries provided Kettle etc provided with nice quality sachets etc for making hot drinks Table over the bed was great, really useful.

Lifts out of order (not the hotel’s fault) but I had to carry my heavy bags back down stairs. Knowing the lifts weren’t working, an offer of help via a note under the door would have been very welcome as a solo traveller.

Location was good. The room was beautiful.

only had one pillow, you can ask for another but surely there should be two per person. very busy with kids running around in reception (not hotels fault), very noisy and busy on arrival and queued quite a while to check in

The rooms were ok. Mostly very clean bedroom and bathroom. However, the radiator had spills and filthy food marks all down it. I don’t know how the housekeeping staff overlooked this glaringly obvious mess!

Clean, modern, convenient.medium to small room but very comfortable. Matress and pillows were great for a good night sleep, very quiet. Friendly staff and great breakfast with fresh food for a good price.

It's a little bit out of town so not much in the immediate area.

Room felt cold when we arrived late, draft from window, lighting poor

After our issue we did get a much better response from a different member of staff whom I wish had dealt with us first before the other very rude person get in, her name was Kim and she was lovely

Customer service was awful, we messaged with an issue and got a very abrupt negative response, we felt the message could have been much more thought out and considerate, we won’t book with ibis again
