Belvilla Crewe City Centre Hotel - Lifestyle

I spent 6 nights at this hotel. It was exceptionally clean and all the staff were friendly and helpful. Only drawback for my stay was that there was no breakfast available. This was due to refurbishment. Otherwise a brilliant stay.

Belvilla is sited in what I understand is a former Holiday Inn. It is situated about a ten minute walk from Crewe railway station and I stayed for one night. This walk is relatively well-lit at night. The first thing to note that with this branch there is no public direct line to the hotel, but a mobile is provided the day before check-in via agoda messages. On arriving to the hotel I witnessed a man who was covered in blood, requiring me to call an ambulance and the police. I had to wait about half an hour to check in to the hotel after this and I was unable to get a hold of staff at this point, which I feel is a major safeguarding concern which they are yet to respond to me about via e-mail. That aside this sets up a very poor atmosphere to come to in the hotel. I doubt this is a regularity here but I would note that the staff did not help me clean up the blood on the person or come to assist, nor was any first aid kit identified. The hotel lock system uses a keypad and feels secure (which given the events before I checked in is a good thing to note), but there are pretty poor acoustics causing you to hear other people during the night. I managed to get a pretty decent nights sleep regardless. Room was clean in and of itself. Other things to note is that I did not have breakfast and the hotel bar is regularly reported as not being open. If you have a tendency to avoid sticky situations like these then I can imagine this is an okay nights stay considering the price, but just be wary you might be left in an awful situation like this!

Stayed here a couple of times and it's always good. Room is clean, comfortable bed and a good shower. Staff are excellent and the breakfast is good value.

We were recently at Belvilla Crewe city hotel for 10 days. Thats a long stay, i got to observe the hotel, service and staff in detail. We had made booking online, unfortunately i forgot to put both me and my husband’s name in the booking, i requested multiple times to add his name, i needed it for something. They did not listen to it at all. Although its impossible when they could do it easily while preparing the invoice. Most of the staff was friendly but on the day of our check out it was raining and we were waiting for our ride with our 6 month old child, they made us sit in lobby with all our luggages waiting for the ride. Cleanliness is an issue, despite hanging the sign outside staff would not come for cleaning and i could not wait sitting in room for that i was there for a purpose so i had to leave. Overall not a good experience
