Kochanowskiego 23 Apartament

Great location with lots of food and cafe options very nearby in the fantastic neighborhood. Easy walk to historic city center and all the usual sites. The apartment is clean and practical with good beds plus good sofabed in the livingroom. Kitchen well equipped except for coffee, and bathroom is good and equipped with washing machine. Perfect for small family of four.

We liked the apartment — it felt modern, clean, and convenient. Our older children slept in the loft area, which they absolutely loved. There was a laundry machine which we used every second day. Although the apartment wasn’t located directly in the Old Town, it was right by the very convenient Plac Inwalidów bus and tram stop. From there, we easily traveled to the Wieliczka Salt Mines, the Zoo, the Botanical Gardens, Park of Experiments and the Old Town. The area also had plenty of useful amenities nearby, including several Żabka convenience stores, a 24/7 pharmacy, Rossmann, bakeries, cafés, and kebab places, which made the location especially practical. The neighborhood was quiet and felt very safe. Directly across the street there is a lovely park with a great playground. The park itself is beautiful and pleasant for walks or relaxing with lunch. The building has an elevator which is very convenient for those with mobility issues and large luggage. The owners were very kind to provide extra pillows upon my request and a 1h extra of check out.

We were a group of six — two adults and four children aged 10 and under — and we would not particularly recommend the apartment for families with very small children. The bedroom with the skylight had no way to cover the window, so as soon as the sun came up, our baby would wake up as well, which was a bit after 5 a.m. The same issue applied to the living room. Although double curtain tracks were installed, there were not enough curtains to properly darken or cool the living room in the morning. Because of this, there wasn’t really a comfortable space for sleeping with a baby. The apartment also does not provide a baby cot. Another issue we encountered was that the bed covers were too small for the size of the beds and for the number of people staying there. We only had three small blankets to share among all of us, so nobody slept particularly comfortably because of that. The water pressure in the shower was also extremely weak — almost like a drip rather than a proper shower. This could be problematic for someone with thick hair or for anyone who prefers a stronger shower experience. Additionally, the water temperature could suddenly change during the shower, so extra care is needed, especially when bathing children.

Le indicazioni per il check-in non sono state molto chiare, il che ha reso l’arrivo un po’ complicato. Purtroppo l’ascensore non funzionava il giorno dell’arrivo (considerando che l’appartamento si trova al quarto piano), anche se fortunatamente è stato riparato nei giorni successivi. Per quanto riguarda i servizi, l’acqua calda della doccia impiegava molto tempo ad arrivare e il soffione non era fissato bene, cadendo spesso durante l’utilizzo Anche i termosifoni non scaldavano molto: siamo stati fortunati che le temperature non fossero troppo basse I materassi risultano piuttosto piccoli (una piazza e mezza), quindi non ideali per tutti Sarebbe utile inoltre fornire una quantità maggiore di prodotti base come detersivo per i piatti, prodotti per la pulizia e bagnoschiuma/shampoo, soprattutto per soggiorni di più persone: in questo caso non è stato possibile lavare i piatti

El diseño.

El sofá no era apto como cama. No había suficiente ropa de cama para dormir tres personas individualmente. La calefacción no funcionaba y el ascensor tampoco. El apartamento era un cuarto. Había palomitas debajo del sofá, supongo que de los anteriores huéspedes. La cerradura de la puerta funcionaba muy mal.
