    Book this property for the Nakasendo trip starting from Nakatsugawa. The property seems relatively new though I find it weird that no footwear/shoes are allowed. There are shoe lockers provided so the whole building is relatively cleaner. The town is small so the hotel is near food and grocery options and is also a short walk from the train station and Tourist center. The amenities in the property are great plus the food /breakfast are satisfying

    Public bath is well maintained Good base to stay to start the Nakasendo trail as its around a 10 minute easy walk from the station. Restaurants are also nearby for any meals needed Staff onsite are very helpful and accomodating Room is good, TV placement is to the side of the bed but complete with streaming platforms if needed Breakfast is good and cleanliness is commendable

    Convenient for people who want to visit the nearby Magome and Tsumago but I hate having to take off my shoes everytime I entered the hotel. It was too troublesome. Explanations from staff was also not clear and they were not super friendly by Japanese standards. Parking is paid (500yen per day) even though they stated free parking on Agoda. And we arrived on Sunday where they blocked all the roads for Sunday market up till like 3pm but we were not informed by the hotel prior to arrival and it was difficult for us tourists to find an alternate road to the hotel. Probably would not stay again.
